Not really free
The app is free, each city you want to use costs $$$. For example Charlotte, NC is $2.99.

Wish I had read the reviews before I purchased a map! Worked first time, but now does not show actual street names or detail. Author should read their reviews and fix. The app store should refund all those who have bought as it does not provide what it advertises! Rubbish!
free app, costly map data sold separately
There are absolutely no maps in this application - download it and you have nothing but a poorly designed interface that tries to sell you the actual maps. Don't waste your time.
Worst app
I don't mind the $2.99 to buy the map, however it would not even download the whole map. Bad app.. Buggy, slow, difficult to navigate. Do NOT spend your money on this one. I am removing it from my phone. Why don't the offer zero stars. Not even worth that.
Free version ok
But I preferred the Time Out Berlin app which came with a great free offline map that you could bookmark.

Not as good as Google - detail is limited. Barcelona didn't load properly. And misleading to say its free!

Great product and service
These folks extended a map for me on request, while they were traveling, within two days. It was a lifesaver traveling with data roaming turned off. WOWZERS :-)
False pretense
Unlike the presentation of this App, the maps that come with it are not free, and are actually quite expensive given one has to pay for each of them.
So what does one get for free? An icon on your Ipod (or Ipad) that will only show you a picture of an old drawing of Europe, if you click on it. Nothing else.
You can't even buy a map from there, you have to go back to the Apple store where a list of city maps and their respective price now shows... Highly improper representation. Would give it a minus five if I could.
