Great app besides ads

Amazing App

Really really good it has a lot of leagues and I can follow a lot of football with it

Latest update has ruined a great app

The latest update has filled the app with intrusive ads which has made the app extremely data-hungry.

Previously at the end of an article it had 5 related articles and 1 ad to navigate which made it very easy to do a “deep dive” into more relevant football content. Now it’s an endless scrolling feed of annoying clickbait which makes me spend significantly less time on the app. Also, you are now requiring a login for very basic functions and give the reason of personalised content - I don’t buy that and see it as a way to mine more data out of customers for more income. I refuse to create an account. The updates have me drifting towards other apps at the moment, please get the balance right between your income and user experience.

One Football is a great app. Just 2 things I would like to change, first of all I want highlights to be included for premier league, la liga etc. And secondly, I want to see the table and games of different years, like 2015. Apart from that, very good app. Keep up the good work. 😁

Used app for 3 years. Newest update has ruined it

I have used this app for 3 years and this recent update has completely ruined what was a great experience. I have never left a review but felt the need after this. Before the update, the news articles were spread evenly amongst teams, showing the top articles for each team. The newest update they have a “for you” page now. This page is now littered with the same article just by different sources. Liverpools approach for a new manager was the first 6 articles on the page.
Now the biggest p***take is that on the articles, they now automatically load up the App Store to a gambling site without even clicking on it. Like the app has just become adware.
However, I do have something positive to say. If OneFootball never released this update, I never would of uninstalled the app and found FotMob which is by far a superior app in every sense. They have a play by play graphic on every match and the way they split momentum up is amazing. So for that, I thank you OneFootball.

Good app but one flaw

Overall this is a great app but there is room for improvement. (I only have one flaw right now) One way it can improve is that whenever I am watching a game, the scores still come up as notifications, so when I’m watching a game my phone will ring and I will look and it says “this person scored” before I see it on the tv(I’m usually streaming the game and it has a delay). One way I think you can fix it is when you get the notification that the game started, ask something like “are you watching the game” and if they say yes it cancels the notifications of the game until the end saying the results of the game. I would really appreciate this in the app because it is a problem for me. Despite this one flaw, this app gets 5 stars from me.

One Football

This app is great for people who want to know the scores to games and see what has happened through out the game it also is good when some games are on late at night or early in the morning so I can watch the highlights⚽️🇦🇷🇫🇷

Really good app however the notifications do annoy me from time to time

I downloaded OneFootball back in September 2023 because I friend recommended it to me and since then it has revolutionised my love for football and keeping up to date with current affairs involving football. I love how you can follow any football team - from Liverpool (my main team) all the way to Billericay Town (my local team).

I also like the very interesting articles they write about football in general and also the quizzes which are also on the app. I find these very interesting and it is a pleasure to work with.

However, the only concern I have with this app is the notifications: this app often seems to give me notifications which I turn off and seem to run to around midnight which does frustrate me. Maybe this was me, however I turned the notifications of for the Liverpool vs Manchester United game in the FA Cup because I was going to watch it on delay however they still went of and spoiled the score for me ☹️.

All in all, I still really love this app and will continue to love it and it anybody watching this, I would strongly recommend this app.

One issue

So I love this app overall but there is one minor issue that is bothering me a bit.
When I logged in on my old phone, it took no longer than 2 mins, and I could customise my profile and everything. But on my current phone, I confirmed my Email (I’m on IPhone 12) and I logged in. But I went on to onefootball app and my account was just called ‘Profile’ and I couldn’t customise it. I literally signed in and confirmed my email and all it says is ‘Great to have you with us!’ Like I’m signing back out or something? Yeah but I signed in and it says it everywhere but I can’t customise my pfp or name.

It’s ok but could be a lot better

This is where I come to read the articles and news about my favourite team, however the app is kind of slow. It also has loads of articles that are either unfinished, not all there or contradictory within the same one? I think the editors need to start looking at what their posting on the app from a user point of view and see what I mean.
