A must buy
This is ridiculously, almost pointless simple, but its one of the best games I've found on here. This is the kind of concept that just would not work anywhere else, but here its fantastic. It won't get old, either, with 11 varied game modes, besides the tutorial and practice modes (one for each enemy color), and of course the fact that its all about getting the best time.
The one minor flaw is that it doesnt let you play your own music, but its own soundtrack is suitably epic. Everyone should get this game.Show lessajaxender12
It's Hip to be Square!
This is a fantastic game, just get it! I have been playing this game all the time now, it is now my favorite game on my iPod touch it plays perfectly. I don't think it needs a story mode or monsters instead of squares, if you want those then buy a different game. Let's stick to the original concept here. I do agree that more character customizations would be fun strictly for looks, weapons, hats etc..... The only issue that I found a problem with is with the controls in one handed mode, you have to swipe to move. It would be much more comfortable if you could tilt to move in this mode as I found it a bit frustrating while fighting to have to keep swiping back and forth trying not to get slammed by squares and attack them at the same time.Show lessDuckster1
Terribly clever, wide variety of enemies, all square
At first sight it looks terribly simple, run left and right, hit blocks, level up. But there are 12 different colours of square, with different movement and attack patterns, many different levels of difficulty, favourite spells, etc. And dozens of different game modes, each with different strategies.
In truth I'd like to see the option to play a ranged character too. But there you go.Show lessBohemianCoast
Epic Fail of Epic Proportions
If you're after any kind of RPG, look else where. This is an arcade game at best. A 2D side scroller that bored me enough to delete it after 10 minutes. I can't speak for anyone else, but the bunch of 5 star ratings it got that enticed me to buy this App, must have been bogus.
The game consists of running to the right, meet a square, thumb mash your screen. Rinse & Repeat. If you think I'm kidding, waste your money and find out how truely accurate my description is.Show lessDamageZ

Not worthy!
This game didn't feel like a true RPG at all. I think a fast RPG that can deliver a quick fix in an actual turn-based battle system without sacrificing real rpg features like leveling up, real enemies, the feel of achieving something, some kind of story to give it purpose, saving your progress, you know that kind of stuff.
The coolest thing was the avatar customization. Pretty nice. Other games very similar to this one, with the same buy-your-upgrade-and-slash-away routine, are NOT called RPG. Because the BYUASA Routine is the fast and preferred way to make an adventure game, which is what it feels like, a fast, level ripping adventure game. Misleading people.Show lessAlpha

This is by far the best app I have ever bought (and I have N.O.V.A). It is simple yet extremely effective. It'd be cool if you could also upgrade your magic though (an idea for an update). Buy it now.Bimdas
