Really Awesome. Not 4 Everyone
This app is fun! Simple but fun. U run through levels u choose of different lengths attacking... squares... with a sword! Sounds dumb but... works excellent! Honest! I almost deleted it until I played the other modes which are much more difficult and entertaining. U get magic spells and u have to choose wisely cuz it affects how you clear the level. But I can understand why some don't like this app. It's nothing but squares and beating other nerds scores... Not a big whoop. But it's a good game at heart, u can choose how the character looks from skin to hair to clothes, and it's a lovely pick up and play app for a while. Personally, I recommend.Show lessQG

Wow, just wow guys! This game is really really well done! The art style is simple, but it's just so darn charming! I love every aspect of this game!
I only wish that you could add something in future updates, fully customizable characters. I understand that you can change the colours of the guy, but I'd love to fully customize his appearance with new clothes, hair styles, races, etc.? And something that would even further the awesome sauce this game had spilled, is to have different classes with upgradable weapons and such. I do understand that the point of this game is to play in short bursts, but having a full story mode that you can pop in and out of anytime would completely further the longevity to the reaches of the moon.
Anyways, your game is great and I cannot wait too see what you do next!!!!Show lessRichardoma
Great game
This game is really fun but it would be awsome if there were more weapons, if you could put more than three letters into the leaderboards, the fire and lightning spells do diferent damage according to the size of the enemy (because they become useless after the very begining of the game), if the squares had faces, if there was a spell to change the color of the square to gray, and if you could refill your magic bar at villages like you can for your life bar.Show lessJeffoey
More Kooistra goodness!
For the haters! You need to look past the simple square shapes. This is about working out the fighting tactics of the shapes, not what they look like. They are mere avatars to an intelligent enemy. This and Bit Pilot, Doodle Jump are the only ones I would keep a permanent home for on my phone. Maybe some updates would be nice if executed properly. But don't screw with the formula as it's perfect as it is. KISS is what this game is about. Weighing up attack, defense, health and maneuverability. A bold could have flopped effort that succeeds with charm. Kooistra shows that he is up there with the top devs for iDevice gaming. Thanks.Show lessNgc891
Almost Perfect
I almost didn't buy this game but seeing so many positive reviews i decided to take a chance. I'm actually glad i did. The controls run smooth with no problems so far. Many people are requesting different type of enemies but i actually like the different square sizes. Its one of the features that make this game unique. The only reason i gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is becauuse i would like to see different types of weapons in a future update. Other than that i have no other complaints. Good fun
This app is great, for about 30 mins or more, which is when it does become quite repetitive. I would defiantly still play this again but there needs to be a few changes.
1. More things to upgrade with the money you receive
2. More game modes with different gameplay effects
3. Possibly the ability to buy things to add to your character like armour or new weapons?
4. Different shapes to fight against with different abilities
5. More moves to attack enemies with, at the moment this is only a normal sword swipe and jumping forwards or backwards swipe.

First of all, the graphics is very smooth. I love the way the character is drawn. It's very cute. The gameplay is really fun and addictive. It has a sort of original concept. It's great that there are lots of game modes, but I just wished there was a story mode. Also I think it would have been better if there were like monsters or something instead of those cube things... or they could just make a separate game with a similar concept but instead of different game modes, they should just put a story mode and then more character customization, more monsters, more characters etc, etc. Anyway, the game all in all is really awesome. There are so many things to like about this game. It's extremely creative and controls very well. The art style is great as well. My only complaint is that I can't play my own music when playing this game. When will iPhone developers understand that I like to listen to my own music while playing games?Show lesssteven504
