Good for what it is
Take speed running. Let it be Super Metroid, Sonic, Mario, there's always speed running, but never in a RPG. This game is meant for speed running and short burst, like a replayable mini RPG, on the lightest terms. If you want an in depth, complex, epic, long RPG, this app is not for you, it's a short but sweet RPGish kinda speed running game, if that makes any sense. But it's good for what it is, a VERY simple RPG. This is no Zenonia folks, it's quick and easy, and repetitive. But if you can look past that, you got quite a gem here. Sure it gets old fast, and there's no real point to it, but it's a fun spin on the RPG genre, it a fun game in all.Show lessBphall
Great game... Could be perfect.
This game is very very good, a few suggestions though that could make it truly incredible.
* persistent levelling, basically a quest mode that were all upgrades were kept and spells were unlocked at levels.
* some method of jumping, would add a lot more strategy to the gameplay.
* more dynamic backgrounds. The backgrounds in the towns look great as they scroll past at separate speeds, really adds depth to the visuals, doing this in the woods/plains/deserts e.t.c would do the same for the out of town stuff.

Nice but...
I have given this game 4 stars because it is a great game and I love it. I think it needs a story mode though. Like you could save up your money and the squares get harder and harder, and perhaps you could buy better swords or you can actually see the shield you are carrying? But I really think this game needs levels or a story, then I would give it five stars! Great game though!Show lessMarc3214

Could have used different shapes as well as a shape descrip in the tutorial. Like to be able to level spells.
Any reason why hardcore white squares are so frigging hard to beat?
Also, the ability to upgrade weapon (e.g. Length) would be great
