This game is amazing yet simplistic!!!! :D I love it. The control scheme is excellent due to the fact there's more then one. Enemies are hilarious because come on who wouldn't want to beat the crap out of squares!!! The music is amazing on it's own *a note for a future update allow players to listen to their music* and the protaganist is very chibfied which I love*another note for a future update make more clothes and backgrounds* :D thanks for an awesome RPG on the goShow lessGeneral dead baron
Gotta love FAAD!
I debated on buying this game for a couple of days now. Instead went with a few others, and lo and behold, here it is, free! Thanks FAAD! I wouldve paid 99 cents for this though. It's a unique little take on the action RPG. Fun gameplay mechanics, interesting controls which are pulled off very well, a bunch of skills, and it's not your tradition RPG! I suggest checking it out if you're looking for a game that you can play while on a smoke break at work, or when you only have 5 minutes to kill. Grab it while it's free, at least!Show lessBonesauce
Don't expect an RPG
those looking for an RPG would be stupid to buy this...it's an action side scroller with RPG elements. It's kind of mocking the whole RPG genre and breaking down the best of said games into one quick genius of an app. Quite hilarious and enjoyful it made me laugh over again I love it!iTunesReviewer13
Pretty Good
The pics were misleading a bit in my opinion and the description in general as i assumed a full and well thought out little gem of a game was what I was purchasing. What I got was definitely not that, and having paid for it, it was based on those merits. I have to say it's a bit above average but gets kinda boring. Yes I understand he hits cubes but they vary greatly in size and ability and some require more skill than others to take down. But I agree where fresh content is concerned as each gamemode isn't unique enough to be considered as such. In the end, for sure get it free but at it's current state it's not a must have- but it passes time fine.Show lessskookie5

I walked into this game knowing that it was no RPG. I probably wouldn't have bought it if it was. After all the reviews saying that it's no RPG, I think I should tell you what it IS. It's a frantic hack-n-slash fighting game based around tilting your iDevice as far to the right as possible and tapping the screen as fast as you can to get to the goal ASAP!!!! Why? No idea! As a proud hater of Angry Birds, I can safely say this game is better than angry birds ever will be. Let's bring the game to the top 25. Let's make it number one, like it deserves to be!!!
Now, some suggestions:
Story mode: why do the squares hate you?
Mode creator: Health limit, number of spells allowed, square size range, name, ETC.
The game is called Fighting Angry Squares: The Action Rpg (Fastar!). I have to admit, circles do sound pretty cool, but monsters? Really, people? The people who say "add weapons and monsters" think the game will be better off with their suggestions, but it will ruin the game for the people who like it. The bad reviewers: I understand that the title is misleading, but if you dropped the expectation of a RPG game, would you like it more?
Good reviewers W/ stupid suggestions: If you like the game as is, don't you want it to have a higher rating? If your suggestions get implemented, all the people who REALLY like the game would drop their rating. The game wouldn't be as silly, simple, and fun.Show lessDrlemon12

Good value
For 99cents this game really is a steal. No, it's not an rpg and yes, you do fight squares. The only rpg element it has is the ability to upgrade your attack and defense that only lasts for the current game. Each square has different attack styles and by the time you get to the end of a level, they become increasingly difficult.
I do wish that this game had a story mode of some sort which I'm sure will be added eventually considering all of the people asking for it.
All in all this is a great deal for 99cents and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a game that you can pick up and play for a few minutes.Show lessSlaphappynoodle
Great game
For 99 cents this game is great! People complain about the enemies being squares and achievements being lost from level to level but I like the boxes (this is a game you can easily pick up every day for 10 minutes) and there are no levels per se, each mode is independent of the others. I like to set it to random so I can get challenged every time I play :). I would love a campaign mode though. Why is he fighting the squares, I would love to know!Show lessVespia
Good but can be improved
The game is fun but I wish that there was a main campaign along with the different game modes. I loved raising my strength and defense but then I would get annoyed when it was taken away from me at the end of the mode. Having a campaign would fix that. Also add some levels too the spells. Everytime u use a spells that spell gets Exp and then it lvls and it becomes more powerful. Also have some more weapons for there to buy and have each one have different stats.
