  • More Glitches

I'm going to review again, because after playing the game for a while I have noticed some more things that I think should be changed.

First, and most importantly: the fact that you sometimes have to play a game over and over, and the only way to make sure you move on to the next day is to sim it. Please fix this.

Second, trading. Previous reviewers noted that you have to trade separately for players on the same team. They can also request more players if you want to trade with them, but I cannot. This seems unrealistic.

Third, I don't like the injury system at all. While it is impressive that they actually have injuries, it isn't very real. Once you get the email saying a player was injured, you know that you'll have to move your player. There is no waiting and playing through injuries like in actual baseball.

It's a good game overall, but the last update was 3 months ago. You would think some of these glitches would be fixed by now.

  • Very glitchy but very fun

The game does have a lot of glitches and a few areas where improvement is needed (trades, stamina, etc.), but it is very addictive and a lot of fun. Once you figure out the game's quirks, you can really do well. I actually just rolled off 9 consecutive seasons with a world championship!
  • Not bad but stats are wrong

Started a season with the Yankees, went 3-0 in the first 3 games and yet Andy pettitte's record is 1-1. Not good.
Otherwise the game seems to be well done. Could use some cooler on field graphics though.
  • Good...but needs an update

It needs a roster update and some glitches need to be fixed...also, it would be nice if you could simulate through the season. Also, there are A TON of bugs...you could play the same game over and over but the standings won't update...very annoying
  • Good Concept But....

The basic game is fun and a great idea. However, I've had to re-load it 3 times due to the game freezing in the middle of a season. This is very frustrating because the game takes a lot of time to make trades, play the game, sign free agents, etc. Then, after all of your work, it just stops...and there is no going back. It only starts again if you delete and the reload the app...but that sort of defeats the purpose. This is the sole reason I don't pay for the full app. I'm not paying $4.99 only to have to keep re-starting from square one.

  • Good start

This app is definitely a good start for simulation baseball.

The only problems are that with trading you have to do separate deals to get separate player that are on the same team.

Also you can only sim one game at a time, so a season takes forever. Please make it so we have an option to sim a series, week, month or even the season.

  • Sweet game!!

I realize that this game pretty much just came out, but it is a bit buggy so far... But if you can get past some minor, but annoying glitches, it's REALLY addictive and really fun...
  • Bugged and dev. Doesn't know baseball

Yeah as mentioned below it's bugged to all hell making it worthless. I put in a lot of time and finally gave up....

Also, for a baseball sim, the rules and such are way off on game. For
Instance. If you bring in a relief pitcher with runners on base and those runners score, in real life those runners are credited to the pitcher who is responsible for those runners being on base. In this game, those runners when they score is credited to the pitcher who gave up the hit that allows them to cross the plate. The stamina system also needs major tweaking especially with relief pitchers.

Fix the bugs, know the rules of the game, update the rosters since these are almost 2 years old, and speed up the load times. If I had bought the full version of this game I'd pissed off.

  • Good game, but it

I'm a huge fan of this game, and I want to give it more than three. stars But it has one big flaw, and that prevents me from ranking it higher. As a previous commenter noted, it has a bug that will sometimes make you repeat games over and over again in the schedule instead of advancing to the next day. The net effect of this is that while you don't get credit for the win (or loss) your players do still see the effect of having played the game on their stamina, which means they aren't going to play as well in the next game.

Another minor bug issue is that sometimes the active roster menu doesn't display properly. I like that you can turn off seeing the batters or pitchers in the active roster list to make viewing and switching players around easier, but sometimes when you do that, and then turn the batters or pitchers back on, the list gets all jumbled. Instead of having all the starters at the top sometimes the bench players are mixed in instead of being listed at the bottom.

Apart from those bugs there are some feature issues I wish the game had, like when you are offered a trade for one of your players there is no option to make a counteroffer to the other team. You have to respond either 'yes' or 'no.' However if you make a trade offer to another team for one of their players, that team can make a counteroffer. So it seems like having the option to make a counteroffer is a natural option to include.

I'm a fan of sports simulation games like this, and this is a good one (especially since it's free). It really is a better game than 3 stars, but the time glitch makes it a little frustrating.
