Reckless fun!!!!
Coming from the same top down viewpoint from classics like Super Sprint/Micro Machines/Super Cars this is a great little racer.
There are lots of control setups till u find the one best for you......I would like the option to position them onscreen though like a lot of other popular titles.
Graphically it's superb, there are tons of detail in the tracks and the vehicles are animated really well too.
The whole game has a charm of it's own.
Sound is good although more tunes or the use of your iPod library would be good.
Also if there were power ups like turbos etc it would add a lot of variety to the game and boost it's longevity......although I don't know if it would be as balanced?

It's good
It's a great car game. Pro's are the great gameplay and graphics and it's almost worth it however the only place this game is a letdown in is the levels. Not enough, needs more. They have a "pack 1" which suggest that there will be more packs and hopefully the additional packs are free.Tank(AO)
Good game but please amend the control position
Very good game but can I ask that the developers add an option to move the controls. It's quite awkward trying to hold the iPad and use the controls at the bottom corners. I use the standard controls but I really would like the option to move the control buttons further up the page. It would make the iPad a lot easier to hold while playing. Cannot fault the game tho.....very good app and highly recommended. iPhone version feels a bit better in the hands which make the controls a bit easier.Show lessChpa

This is what the ipad has been waiting for, a game that truely showcases the graphic ability of this device. The graphical detail is superb, is worth pausing the game from time to time to admire the scenery. I do find the odd frame drop but I guess this is to be expected with this level of high detail. Within options you can configure the control settings to suit any situation. I am currently using tilt with auto gas and the brake on the righthand side of the screen to dab going into corners. Dont be put off bu it being a top down racer. There is an amazing amount of 3D gone into this game making you feel you view it from a helicopter pospective. 5 stars, let this be the benchmark for future games.Show lessNeedles45
Good, but short
Yes, the graphics and the physics are outstanding, but the number of tracks is very small. They double the tracks by offering them in reverse, but it is easy to finish, and I don't see myself replaying it very often.mourges
Great game
Nice drifting style racing, easy controls and some of best graphics on the iPad, it makes for a fun pick up/put down racing game...it puts lotion on its skin..

Great choice in control set up and fantastic graphics and frame rate.
The game is a little easy and definately requires a few more levels (rather than unlocking reverse tracks) and a ability to modify your car would be great (ie: better tires for grip, body enhancements, upgraded exhaust sounds etc) but all in all a great fun game.Show lessGhost10forty

the best fun I have ever had, super smooth and it just works like it should, those graphics are amazing, its about time someone has made a fantastic game for the iPad...

I have been looking forward to this game for ages, I won't say it was worth the wait because it was a loooong wait!
The graphics are extremely detailed, good sound and some of the best and most customizable controls for a car driving game I have seen on iOS.
Tracks are maybe just a little short. Once you see the amount of detail you will understand why though. Lack of local multiplayer or the ability to create a private game on the Internet is a bit of a downer as well. A replay option would be awesome ;-)
Overall this is the most fun little driving games I have played on the iPad or iPhone. I hope future updates don't take as long as the game did to publish and fix some of the shortcomings of this version. Good value and a lot of fun ;-)Show lessruntimeNoosa

This game is excellent, great gameplay and some of the highest quality graphics on the iPad. Everything you want in a casual fling about driving game. Looking forward to more track packs. Well done guys.Cowflash
