Needs update

Fark changed their tabs to use STEM vs. Geek. The app doesn’t recognize the change. Otherwise it’s great!

Hi - we have an update for the tab changes which should be available soon.

Text size not adjustable

Lots of people have to adjust their text size for ease of reading, but if you make it too big, then the new format cuts off the link text. If I have it where I need it to read easily, I only get a couple words of the link.

Please consider going back to links on individual lines, rather than in separate non-scaling boxes.

Hi - thanks for the feedback. We'll investigate what is possible for the Home screen to make the text more readable. However, if you tap "See All" for any category you will get adjustable cells that show the entire headline.

Liked the old format better

Can’t read the whole headline, I see fewer articles per page, and takes longer to read than the previous version. Very poor interface choices. Just go back to the old version. Drew must have been on a bender to approve this abomination. It’s buggy too. Sections disappear after highlighting.

The old format looked like the website. The website is simple and well organized. Take that as your inspiration.

No need to change

I’m really tired of app designers who make unnecessary changes just to show off. These newest “upgrades” are an example.

I love FARK, but...

The new changes to the app frustrate me. It’s not as easy to share articles, etc.

Sorry to hear that. You can long-press on any article and get the same options as the older version of the app, along with a preview image of the article itself. From there, you can open the article by tapping on the preview, open the comments, copy the link, or share.

New look

I liked the old version better. Now when I go back to the feed I have to scroll to find where I was at. The old version was easier to use.

Hi - I'd like to understand your issue a bit more. Are you moving from the Home screen to an article and coming back or from a single category? Please contact us at support@kineso.com.

New interface is poorly thought out

The title text is too large to get a sense of the article without opening it.
The side scroll for each heading is really awkward.

You can long-press on any article to see the full headline. If you tap "See All" on any category, you will see the more familiar single-category interface where the full headlines are shown and vertically scrollable.
