How 3AM works
- 3AM allows users to access fanfiction and other content on Archives of Our Own in a manner similar to a web browser. When users open a work or submit a search query, the mobile device fetches data directly from AO3's servers. The Developer respects the rights of the creators and owners of the content, and does not host, scrape, endorse, or claim ownership of the content accessible through the App. The Developer does not use AO3 content to train AI models. The text-to-speech function in 3AM is powered by the device's built-in accessibility features. 3AM provides user-friendly mechanisms for readers to visit and engage on AO3. 
- 3AM only accesses publicly available content on AO3. "Locked" works are not supported at the moment.
- 3AM stores your library, reading progress and other data locally on your device and iCloud (if enabled).

This reader is wonderful! Perfectly organized, fluid, responsive, useful, extremely helpful when reading! However, there are only two things I dislike: the lack of ability to download, which I could just as easily do myself on AO3 for free, and the inability to access or log in to my ao3 account if I could. It could allow me to transfer over marked later lists, bookmarks, and management of works, although I recognize this is a reader.

I really like the app. It has some features I really wanted from AO3 like downloading easier, finding fandoms my work count, etc. I do wish there was a multi select for options or all works in a collection. It would make it easier to quickly mark all the stuff you have read and all the stuff you plan to read.

This app works great for reading on AO3, but as someone who isn’t interested in a lot of fandoms I feel that forcing the user to search within certain canons or ships is limiting. I don’t understand why the main search feature can’t be more like AO3’s search where we can search all stories at once. Instead we need to individually add either fandoms or ships and can only search within one of them at a time.

I can’t find what I’m looking for on here on your app and could you guys like allow all the fanfiction  more or of  all of it to be access from this app and also could you put a thing on your app or on your website that we could put our email address as a guest and to find  our  comments that we previously put on a body of fanfiction work that would actually be helpful

**Developer response:** Hi, 3am is not affiliated to AO3, it is a third party app designed for a better reading experience on mobile, and currently it does not support accessing locked works with your AO3 account. Sounds like you signed up on AO3 and haven’t received an invite yet, as far as I know that usually takes a few days, but I can’t help you with that, since I’m not AO3. LITERALLY THE BEST WHAT  this app has actually changed my life. i listen to books while playing block blast and it makes it so much easier to pay attention, its just so amazing. all the young dudes, the cadance of part-time poets, all the young dudes (sirius' version),  art heist, baby!, literally every single marauders fic ever makes me so happy

Hi! liking this app so far - i got tired of reading on my browser. however when creating my own custom search i noticed there wasn’t an option for word count which is something i always sort by since i like longer fics and it’s over saturated with ones that are like ~5-10k. Thanks!

This app is so amazing! Love it!!!! But it really needs to work on its search mechanics, it’s so incredibly hard to find a certain genre! You’re only able to find very broad topics and I think it would be better if they widened their range of hashtags that you can search from.
