Don’t get this game! when you know what it is, you don’t get it

Had trouble when I tried to put letters in place to solve it. Didn’t seem to allow that. I tapped on correct letters, no response. I tapped on game boxes first then on letters nothing was being entered. Then tapped on stove now and it solved itself.
