## What is 3DCDesign?

3DCDesign helps makers and small 3D printing shops keep their work organized without turning the workflow into a cloud service. Track printer profiles, print jobs, materials, notes, local gallery media, estimates, reports, and printer status from one local-first workspace. 

Build printer profiles for the machines you own, save material inventory with stock and reorder context, log jobs with cost and customer details, and use analytics to spot material usage, fleet load, maintenance signals, and shop trends. The app also includes packaged printer references, material guidance, infill and technique resources, glossary entries, and practical guides for planning and troubleshooting prints.

Tools include print cost estimates, speed estimates, PDF viewing and document history, local Gallery organization, customer records, monthly reports, OBJ-to-STL conversion, achievements, and optional local printer connections for supported Moonraker/Klipper, OctoPrint, and PrusaLink hosts. Premium Backup unlocks portable local backup creation, with an optional Gallery-inclusive package when you choose to include media. Restore remains available for compatible 3DCDesign backup files.

3DCDesign is designed around local records and device storage. It does not require a login, does not upload Gallery media to a 3DCDesign server, and does not claim cloud backup or remote-from-anywhere printer control.
