It’s a great concept though. I just wish more effort was spent on developing a functioning program before releasing it. ### 1/5 — Saying my number is not valid... *2019-03-19, version 1.0.3* I tried to create an account but the app keeps saying my number is invalid. So I tried my moms, also invalid, then my husbands which was also invalid. Ended up not going in because when I showed the employees my issue they said they don’t know how to help. Then they said we’re not allowed to pay with a credit card with the guy at the front. **Developer response:** Hi Nida - thanks for bringing this to our attention. The locations on the app are not updated and I went to a couple abandoned places. ### 1/5 — Absolutely do not use this app! *2022-09-14, version 1.4.12* Where to start? I put in my info for the free unlimited access trial and it turns out the spaces I was hoping to use aren’t even available. I emailed customer support and got no reply. Next I contacted another office space (Spark Lab in Manhattan) that 3DEN had listed. The person who answered told me that Spark Lab doesn’t even work with 3DEN. They have requested that 3DEN stop listing their space but haven’t gotten a response either. I’m currently waiting to hear back from customer service to cancel my membership. I regret not listening to the other reviews. Do not download! ### 1/5 — DO NOT USE, unless you like to be charged for a service you can’t use *2022-09-10, version 1.4.12* I have had nothing but issues since using 3DEN, the biggest being charged for uses I should have never been charged for. Aside from issues trying to even register to use the space (should’ve been my first warning), I registered for the PCV Study, attempted to use it once once only to find out the internet was down (at a work-share space) and I couldn’t scan in. Then it was randomly closed for two days and I received an email stating I could use their other location, the Oval Study, for free. Well that was not true…they then charged me $75 for two days use. THEN I received an email at 2am a few days later that the PCV Study was permanently closed effective immediately and my membership would be moved to the Oval Study. Surprise there, it wasn’t moved so I was stuck with a membership to the PCV study I couldn’t use. About 1.5 weeks later my PCV membership was cancelled by 3DEN (not moved to the Oval study as their email stated it would be). AND THEN THE KICKER….a few days later I received a $45 charge for my monthly fee to the PCV study that has since closed. I’ve been emailing them daily for a month now with only two responses that they’d look into the charges and that they’d activate “a free month” to the Oval Study, which guess again, never happened. TOTAL SCAM OF A BUSINESS. WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY, AND THEN NOT PROVIDE THE SERVICE YOU PAID FOR. AND THEIR “CUSTOMER SERVICE” IS NON-EXISTENT. ### 1/5 — I was going to join *2021-08-08, version 1.4.2* After reading the shirty reviews on their business practices and unauthorized charges nope! They didn’t respond to one customers review outside the one where someone said the app wouldn’t let them join. Guess they don’t care. **Developer response:** Please let us know if there's anything we can assist with. We haven't received any queries from you, and assume this review is spam. ### 1/5 — Do not give them your card *2021-06-07, version 1.3.3* First the app charged me $5 without permission. Then I tried to remove my card info from the app to prevent more charges, but the app does not allow it. I wrote an email two months ago asking them to cancel the membership and never heard back. Now I am out $200 for a service I haven’t used and have to dispute the charges. The one time I did get into the space, an owner came in shortly after to let a girl out of the basement, who had been accidentally locked in. Inhumane and disgusting actions. **Developer response:** Thanks for your review. After reviewing your account information, you used the space at Box Factory several times throughout your membership period. Your membership was cancelled as per our terms and conditions on the next billing cycle. Based on the customer service correspondence, you expected that you should be refunded for you membership half way through a billing cycle. 3DEN charges $10 per hour to use our workspaces. This is clearly communicated in all of our marketing and before entering a space. You were charged based on that usage and this was communicated via our customer service response. We should note, that our policies are in line with any other subscription service. ### 1/5 — Closed and Confusing *2021-03-15, version 1.3.1* Went to “the box” in my neighborhood to check it out. Thank god I didn’t actually check in and pay since as soon as I entered someone told me I had to leave since they were filming there. No signage, nothing online, nada. Actually glad it was now and not when I came to rely on this place when it’s abruptly closed for no reason. Avoid at all costs. ### 1/5 — Can’t login *2021-02-02, version 1.2.9* I tried login with FB, app immediately crashes **Developer response:** This bug has been fixed. ### 1/5 — App needs work but everything else is great *2021-01-12, version 1.2.9* I am a new user of 3DEN, and i think they have done a great job with the study centers. They are well maintained and a great escape in these crazy times. However, the app itself doesn’t work at all for me. It worked the first 3 hours and then since then I have not been able to check into the oval study. Customer care can also made better, given that I haven’t heard from them at all. The app is definitely the deal breaker for me. I love the study rooms but man do they need to improve the app. ### 1/5 — Be aware of additional charges! *2020-01-27, version 1.1.16* We’ve regretted visiting this place so much! Me and my friend were charged additional 12$ and they even don’t tell you anything about that extra amount. After contacting the customer support they promise the amount will be returned in 3 days. It’s been more than 3 weeks we still didn’t get the refund and our appeals are ignored. Then we found out that our friends had the same trouble. Waste of money! It’s not worth it at all! ## Most praised reviews (6 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Affordable & flexible spaces to work! *2021-05-06, version 1.3.3* 3DEN partners with different places to allow pay per hour access to work space / space to hang out. Easy to access with the 3DEN app - check in, reservations (conference rooms, phone booths), and payments are all done easily through the app. Varying locations around NYC and beyond - all are relaxing and functional. Different layouts and amenities at each location allows for flexibility based on what you’re looking for. Most affordable option for work space out there! ### 5/5 — Great concept - great place *2019-10-27, version 1.1.15* Wonderful oasis in the middle of bustling Hudson Yards. Peaceful place to rest or get some work done. Staff is friendly, helpful and on top of things. ### 5/5 — CEO, The Hired Guns *2019-07-13, version 1.1.7* 3DEN is an oasis in a concrete jungle. If you work in sales, account management or are a freelance consultant always on the move you must check it out. It’s like the best airport lounge ever plopped right into the city—with gorgeous design!!!
