### 5/5 — I have a problem

*2019-04-05, version 1.1*

When I open the file in 3lines.org the app crashes and doesn’t have the download file

### 5/5 — Love it

*2019-03-23, version 1.1*

Simple and very useful. Please keep up the good work. So many Chinese learners rely on this.

### 5/5 — This is great!!!!

*2018-04-14, version 1.1*

Thanks brother for a great app. It’ll be nice if we can just study, highlight etc. Right from the app instead of exporting it to another one.
Good job.

### 5/5 — Thank you!

*2018-04-08, version 1.1*

I so appreciate the time and effort you put into this app. I love how simple it is to convert publications into Chinese! Thank you!!

### 5/5 — The Missing Link

*2018-04-07, version 1.1*

For many of us learners, pinyin to character is an large jump. This helps us bridge the gap. Thank you so much.

### 5/5 — Seriously NothingbutJoyful?

*2018-04-04, version 1.1*

Lol! Great job guys!! Love the app!

### 5/5 — Great app

*2018-04-04, version 1.1*

Fantastic app. Thanks!
“@nothing but joyful”regarding your last review of one star. Very confusing because you praise the app but then give one star. I’m thinking you meant to give it 5 stars. So I’ll submit my 5 star in hopes of offsetting that mistake. :)

### 5/5 — This is a phenomenal APP...

*2018-04-04, version 1.1*

Before I used the 3 line website but it did not always have the publication that I needed. And I had difficulty getting the 3 line font sized the way I liked them. With this app, I merely download the publication in Chinese Traditional or Simplified from the JW.org website and open the ePub file in the 3-line app. Then when I open them and the all text is converted to 3 line, I can, in real time, adjust the font colors and sizes for each of the 3 lines. It also preserves the links that come with the official copy from the society ! What a gift from Jehovah ! And many thanks to the brothers (and sisters?) who have created this !

### 1/5 — No longer works with IOS updates

*2020-12-01, version 1.1*

Please fix

### 1/5 — It used to work very well.

*2020-04-26, version 1.1*

In the past, prior to the ios update, this app worked INCREDIBLY well. Now it will not allow for the 3lines app to be listed as a destination to where to open the file. I know how to use the file. I know where it is, but the ipad ios does not allow for 3lines to be an option.
Any suggestions?

### 1/5 — nothing but joyful

*2018-04-03, version 1.1*

Only had it one day but love its potential almost more than the app itself. Font is much easier to read, settings are good, layout is simple. The only thing I cannot do now that I could before is put a scripture in a note but I’m guessing thats more of a problem with Goodreader than it is with this app. I love what you have done so far.

### 2/5 — Simplified Chinese

*2020-04-27, version 1.1*

The app wasn’t able to recognise simplified words like 为，爱
Which look like this in traditional Chinese 為，愛，
Not sure why other than that the idea is still good.

### 3/5 — Where is the maker gone

*2018-07-22, version 1.1*

The app is very good but would be excellent if it had marker when we study the content if had I would give it 5 stars

### 4/5 — Amazing app but could be better

*2020-07-27, version 1.1*

This app has been really amazing for me and has helped me a lot but I would love if there were an option to highlight stuff. It would be amazing for studying the watchtower and stuff like that. Would really appreciate if you added that feature.

### 4/5 — An appreciated tool

*2020-05-17, version 1.1*

Love this app. I just wish I could highlight

### 4/5 — Could you add this feature?

*2019-04-05, version 1.1*

This app truly is a life saver. I use it all the time. I love this app except one little problem. There is no way to organize downloaded publications. If i can create folders or just be able to move files around would be great help. Thank you.

### 4/5 — Great app for learning / thank you

*2018-11-19, version 1.1*

Thanks brother for all your hard work but I am with the Japanese group at my hall... is it possible to add English - Japanese to your list of languages within this app? Also, why does the app say I need to download a e-pub app when I already use one for JW.org and all of their publications ...

### 4/5 — Good app

*2018-04-06, version 1.1*

Good app. Does exactly what it’s supposed to. I recommend it. Here are a couple of suggestions for improvements: 1) The text size adjustment screen is not too user friendly. Make it clearer and easier to use. 2) Give the option of 2-line: pinyin and def only. Sometimes when you’re in a rush, you just don’t need the orig characters. 3) Some epubs have a ton of references, etc. Please allow option to delete these somehow. Thanks!

### 5/5 — Brilliant App

*2026-03-22, version 1.1*

I am so happy this app is back. I recently got a new iPad and really missed not being able to get it. I find it so useful . Thank you so much

### 5/5 — So happy this is back!

*2025-12-28, version 1.1*

This was not on the App Store for a while. I am glad it’s back! I use this everyday. Thank you!

### 5/5 — Underline?

*2020-09-08, version 1.1*

I love this app and appreciate it. I would love it even more if it was possible to underline in the app. For now I send it to a reader to underline but then the links for scriptures and footnotes don’t work. Thanks for your hard work on this!

### 5/5 — I use it nearly every day

*2020-02-13, version 1.1*

My favorite feature of this app is that I can customize my magazines and books by making the characters larger and bolder than the pinyin. This is helping me to focus more on learning the characters. I can print in 2 lines this way, and can print in large print when large print is not otherwise available. Sometimes I print characters only in large print. Its really helpful!

### 5/5 — Having problems uploading

*2019-11-27, version 1.1*

‘Open In suddenly stopped working 2 weeks ago via JW.org, it forces to open in iBooks. This app is no longer referenced to “open in” via safari or chrome. iOS latest version of both November 2019

### 5/5 — Jon, question for you

*2019-10-21, version 1.1*

Are you the same person that updated the 3lines.org site?

### 5/5 — Can’t seem to download

*2019-10-20, version 1.1*

I was trying to download the Bible teach book into 3lines. But after my iPad has updated 3lines is no longer an option to download. Could you assist?

### 5/5 — Great innovation for laowai learners :)

*2019-07-13, version 1.1*

Thanks Jon, your hard work makes a huge impact!

### 5/5 — Super Helpful

*2019-06-25, version 1.1*

Thank you so much. It is a great help to my work! Only sometimes wish I could highlight some main points in an article. Thanks again!

### 5/5 — 3 lines.org help us more than a decade

*2019-05-12, version 1.1*

We used 3lines.org since we were Chinese Group till now are congregation. Many non-Chinese brothers & sisters come with us to support and learn Chinese to service Chinese field. All of them using 3 lines in different Apps, but now this App is just perfect for my 8 years old son use for comments.
