## What is 3teneFT?

3teneFT (3tene Face Tracking) is a support app for high-precision facial recognition in the PC app for virtual YouTubers, "3tene."
If you have an iPhone X or later, you can use your iPhone's facial recognition feature to capture eye and mouth movement and orientation information and send it to 3tene. This information is then reflected in real time on the body tilt and facial movement of characters (VRM, Live2D models) displayed in 3tene, enabling face tracking that can be controlled.
Easily animate your favorite characters with your own facial expressions.

How to Use
*Network knowledge is required for connection.
1. Connect your iPhone to the same network (router) as your PC (3tene) via WiFi.
2. Enter the IP address numbers (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) displayed in the "System" section of 3tene's settings window and tap the connect icon to send the recognition results to 3tene. (Only the recognition results will be sent; camera images will not be sent.)
3. Change the face tracking type in 3tene's avatar adjustment window to "iPhone."
4. When you activate 3tene's face tracking, the facial information recognized by your iPhone will be reflected in your 3tene character.

If your security software's firewall is enabled, communication between 3tene and 3teneFT may be blocked. If this happens, you will need to add settings to your security software to prevent 3tene from being blocked.

iPhoneXSを使っていた1〜2年前までは特別問題はなかったが、iPhone12proに機種変&iOSの更新を重ねた今現在ではフリーズが頻発する。頻発というより確実に画面フリーズする。
 しかし画面はフリーズしても内部では動作しているようでPCにトラッキング情報が問題なく送られている時もある。が、ダメな時はダメ。画面がフリーズし、その後ブラックアウトしてiPhoneを強制再起動させる羽目になったこともある。
 たとえアプリ更新が2年無くても支障なければそれで良いが、少なからず問題があるのに放置しているのは何故なのか…。PCのソフトウェア開発で手一杯でアプリまで手が回っていないのなら、他所のVTuberソフトがやっているようにiFacialMocapとの連携も考えてほしい。
レビューを見るにiPhoneXSより新しいiPhone利用者がフリーズを訴えているようなので、XS以前のiPhone利用者なら問題ないのかもしれない。
ちなみに過去にアプリの更新予定があるのか公式に問い合わせた事もあるが返事はなかった。
結局私はフリーズにひやひやするのが嫌で他社ソフト（無料）とiFacialMocapの組み合わせに乗り換えたが、使い勝手は3teneのほうが良いと感じており、このアプリが改善されればまた3teneに戻りたいと思っています。

最初の方は使えていたのに、途中から起動して数分でフリーズするようになった。
他の方が書いていたポート開放も試してみたがダメだった。
有料版を買って使用しているのに使えないのでは意味が無い。このまま使えないままなら返金して欲しいレベル。

The App Store says it’s available in multiple languages including English, but really it’s only Japanese. This would be fine if it connected easily, but it doesn’t. It continually gives errors that non Japanese speakers can’t read.

iPhoneXRとWindow10で3tenePRO V2を利用しています。

フェイストラッキング使用中、iPhone側の画面がフリーズすることがわりと頻繁に発生しますが、PC側では問題なくフェイストラッキングが反映されているようです。iPhone側でのフェイストラッキングON/OFFのボタンもタップすると画面はフリーズしたまま動きませんが、フェイストラッキング機能はON/OFF切り替えできています。
導入に際して特に詰まることもなく、基本的な動作は困っていません。

今後のアプデで期待することは、トラッキングで表情自動変更できる表情が増えてほしいこと。
あと、喜怒哀の表情が発現中に瞬きをするとパラメータ設定によっては閉じてる目をさらに閉じてしまう⇒アイラインが頬あたりまで埋まってしまうため、表情ごとに表情自動変更中の瞬きのON/OFF機能が欲しいです。
今は表情全部まとめてのON/OFFしかないので、喜の表情の時は瞬きOFFにしたいけど、怒の時は瞬きONにしたい、ということがあります。

また、使用モデルを切り替える度に背景とカメラ位置とフェイストラッキングがリセットされるため、リセットをかけずにフェード入換してくれるとありがたいです。
ちょっと気軽に帽子を被ったり外したり、ができません……。

また、モーションやポーズ機能に関してですが、私のモデルの体格が合わないためか、どれも不可思議なポーズになってしまう場合が多いです。
標準の立ち姿の他、もう少し女性らしく立てる立ち姿のポーズもあると助かりますが、自分でもBVHファイルが作れないか試行錯誤しています……。
VRoidStudioの撮影画面のような、頭手足といった各関節コントローラでポーズを取れたりしてくれたらなぁと思いますが、そもそもトラッキング用のソフトなのでそこまで求めるのは流石に無茶かと思ってます(でもあれば嬉しい)。

上記該当機能が搭載済みで、私が見落としていたらすみません。
今後も利用していきたいと思います。

ペアリングはうまくいくようになったが画面のフリーズはほぼ毎回ですね。

フリーズしてもカメラは機能しているので動作は出来ます、が可動域の確認が取れないので改善していただけると非常にありがたいです。

Macでアバター動かす環境は非常に限られているのでこのアプリのおかげで本当に助かっていますが更なる改善をしていただけるとVtube業界に更なる活力を与えられると思います^

色んな意見が書かれていますが、私のiPhoneXRでは問題無く動作しました。繋がらない方は、アバタースロットとiPhone側で選択しているスロットが一致しているか確認したほうがいいかも（私はそれで手間取った）。30分程度使ってみたけどフリーズは一度もしなかった。
iPhone側で表情操作ができるのは知りませんでした。右側にある矢印ボタンで変えられるんですね。PC側で3teneのウィンドウを選択せずとも表情を変えられるようになるっぽいので、ゲーム配信等ほかのウィンドウを操作する配信に使うと便利そうです。
他にも表情自動検出機能があったりパーフェクトシンクに対応してたりするので、アバターの表情を豊かにしたい方には丁度よいアプリだと思います。アップデートによって全体的なトラッキング精度も上がってきてますし。
難点があるとすれば、設定方法やこのアプリの使用方法がやや分かりづらいことでしょうか。色々触ってみれば分かるんですけど、逆に言うと触らなければ分からない…というか。直感的に操作したい方には、少し合わないかもしれません。

私もここの古いレビューや、動画サイトで少し昔に投稿されたレビュー動画等を見て購入を迷っていた身でしたが、いざ使ってみると良い使用感だったので、昔より着実に進化していることが分かりました。
