It helps me and the kids keep track of their many projects so that doing record books at the end of the year is much easier. The only things I wish I could change or add is 1 a way to log in on different devices and still have access to my records so my kid can enter things and so can I. 2nd I wish there was a way that sold/deceased animals could be tracked but placed as “inactive” so they show their records but maybe move to the bottom of the list? With the message in the app I would hate to loose this app as I have been unable to find anything comparable or the apps suggested. ### 4/5 — Easy to use *2017-10-19, version 1.01* Love it, easy to use, multiple user and animals, reports are what I need. UPDATE - Please update to iOS 11 *2017-09-25, version 1.01* We love this app. Currently tracking a rabbit project, but will be adding sheep and future rabbits over time. Because we are currently tracking rabbits it would be nice if the weight log could be entered in pounds and ounces. Would love a similar app to track non-livestock projects too (years in project, costs, award,photos, etc) Upgraded to iOS 11 and app no longer works. But Needs to be updated *2017-09-23, version 1.01* This is a great app for keeping all your 4-H expenses, vaccinations, weights, etc all in one place for all your 4-H livestock. However it needs to be updated! I received a message saying it will no longer be compatible with iSO 11! If I cannot use this next yr again for my kids livestock I will be very disappointed to say the least!! Please update. I use it everyday for my daughter’s 4-H projects...this app will no longer work with Apple’s latest update. ### 3/5 — Good app, but could be better *2017-08-14, version 1.01* As other users have previously stated, this app is good for the functionality that it provides, but could be so much better if it would sync across multiple devices. We have 3 iPhones and 1 iPad, but only have the app installed on one device because there is no synchronization. This makes it very hard to keep accurate records if that device is not in the barn or at the store when an update of information is needed (but less confusing than if we tried to compile reports from 4 devices to finish record books). Also the reports functionality needs to be cleaned up and provide a better breakdown of each individual attribute selected. I have weights from 4 animals and they are all on 1 sheet with no breakdown/header for each animal. Make each animal its own page with a header with the title "weight" and animal name. Please include this function across all portions of the reports. PLEASE RELEASE A SYNCABLE UPDATE TO ACCOMMODATE FAMILIES ON THE GO AND ADD THE BROKEN DOWN REPORTS! Thank you. If I was a programmer, I would just do this myself, but I'm not and needed something a little more functional than my MS Excel files that I used previously. One last thing...Can you add an Average Daily Gain (ADG) between weights and overall from the first date, as well as a required ADG to a target date and weight? If so, this application would be 5 stars. ### 4/5 — Wish it synced *2017-05-27, version 1.01* This app is great, but I wish I could "login" and all the info would be available on any/all devices. I started using this app at home on my iPad. I entered kid's info, several of their pigs, some of the events they have attended, etc. Now I'm stuck having to enter everything on the iPad. At the barn and on the go, I have my iPhone. If I enter weights, events, feed changes, etc. it doesn't sync with the ipad and I'm left with different info on each device. Please fix this! ### 4/5 — Love the app! *2016-04-04, version 1.01* This app is very comprehensive and user friendly. I can track out FFA animals per child and even some of our production animals. It allows me to keep all information in one place which I love. It's such a great app my kids would like to be able to use it too. They can use it but will have to set up separate profiles on their devices. Please add the ability to share across devices!! When I upgraded my phone I had to start over:( ### 4/5 — Works great! *2015-05-27, version 1.01* I really love this app. Makes record keeping so easy for our pig and goat projects. Love the weight tracker but wish there was a way to figure the ADG by specific date rather than all the way back to the first original weight entry. Also would love a way to figure out weight projections for fair weigh in. Still have to use my Excel spreadsheet for those details. Really do love the ease of this app and if it had those couple features, it would be perfect! ### 4/5 — Great App *2015-04-13, version 1.01* I absolutely love this app! It has helped us keep our records so much easier. The reason for 4 stars is that there is no way to back it up. When we update our phones all the data is lost. Would really like to have a way to not lose all the entries we put in. ### 4/5 — Almost Perfect *2015-03-08, version 1.01* We have found this app to be convenient, comprehensive, and intuitive. Works great for our FFA project animals as well as 4-H market animals. I have recommended it to individual members and parents but it would also be great as a database for project leaders. The only issue I have encountered is that the keyboard obscures the detail field so you are unable to see what you are typing until after you are done. It needs to be updated. Useless until then. ### 1/5 — Update for IOS 11 *2017-10-02, version 1.01* I love the app and agree with others that as it is further developed it will be even more useful. My problem right now is that I am tracking livestock for a county fair that begins this weekend. Unfortunately I cannot access any of the information on the app because it is yet to be updated to IOS 11. I really wanted to calculate feed to weight conversion over a period of more than a week and a half. Please update this very useful app as soon as possible! ### 1/5 — Does not back up *2016-06-02, version 1.01* This app does not back up!! If you lose or damage your phone you are out of luck! I had 25+ projects and 3 kids in this app and I was not aware it does not store in the cloud! I will not use it again unless it changes. Don't be like me trying to re make your whole year of records and record books! ### 2/5 — 4-H isn’t just about animals! *2017-11-27, version 2.0* It’s a shame that this app cannot accommodate time and expenses spent on still projects, other 4-H organizations including junior fair board, junior leaders, camp counselor training and participation, advisory boards, etc. Also, you better be sure of what you enter (ex: animal name) because you won’t be able to delete it later on. ### 2/5 — Update *2017-10-08, version 1.01* This app does not work with OS 11 update. We are trying to complete our record book for the end of the 4-H year and cannot access the information!!! ### 3/5 — Great potential *2018-10-23, version 2.0* I just downloaded this app and already love it as a resource for my breeding projects. However, I wish that when you click on an animals page from the main screen, you would open up “their page” that shows their description (where I keep all notes). I need to keep track of coat type, ear type, color, eye color, DOB, sire, dam, litter sizes, and litter colors. Since those are options to just enter, I keep this in the description and would love it to be as easy as clicking on the animal to see. Instead of going to the edit page within the animals page. ### 3/5 — Great simple app, wish it had behavior recording *2018-10-03, version 2.0* Would love to have the ability to record behavior/training progress separate from health. Training the animal for fair is a big part of showing and animal temperament is very important for breeding considerations. I think future farmers could really benefit from having the animal’s mental progress and capabilities evaluated as well, especially considering physical and mental health go hand in hand. ### 3/5 — Need to be able to Share info! *2018-06-27, version 2.0* Love the app...but it needs to be a shared source....not all family/farm members are available at all times to update info. Causes an issue with missed information. Please allow access for multiple devices to allow a family to share farm information... ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Must have! *2021-12-09, version 2.2* I have a herd of around 40 goats and I have not found any other ap, purchased or otherwise that I can get comfortable with. I am very worried about it being discontinued. One thing I love is that I can create a separate “herd” by adding a User. This allows me to create a record of the year’s kid crop which I create real-time as each kid is born. Since most of them are sold and there are over 50 of them, I do not want them cluttering up my main herd records. The main drawbacks are that I can’t have them on multiple devices. The previous version for exporting data was also much better. Since I have an iPhone it doesn’t bother me that it is not android compatible. ### 5/5 — Why is it leaving *2020-10-07, version 2.2* This app does everytging I need it to do! I keep up with breeding, birthing, shot records, you name it! I love clicking on the pictures and having all that animals records in my hand. I’m sad to see that they are updating and I’m going to download the data or lose it. The pictures didn’t save and I have none of some of the animals bc I sold them. I wish the data was saved so I could login on my phone or computer.
