I was wrong. No support or tutorials. An expensive mistake. ### 3/5 — iPad version? *2011-12-29, version 3.1* I have this nifty app. Used to use it on my ipod, but now I have an ipad. Unfortunately this app doesn't do ipad mode, so it is 1/4 the size of the screen. Pour la latence ca va. Quand au metronome en effet bof mais on peut compenser en enregistrant soi meme un clic sur la 4eme piste et la replacer après par un enregistrement. Un systeme de transfert USB serait un gros +.4/5 ### 4/5 — Sync fixed! *2010-10-22, version 0* Sync problem has been fixed with latest update, works fine now, the only thing I would like now is some kind of ambience effect ( delay/reverb) which none of these track recorders I've seen seem to have (might be a CPU issue) ### 1/5 — SERIOUSLY DO NOT BUY *2010-05-17, version 0* Recording one track is fine and easy but when recording the 2nd in time with your 1st the final product when listening back is out of sync, therefore its not a 4 track at all really, just an out of sync mess. Yeah, you can record 4 tracks, but guess what? You cannot combine them into a single track! You can only save each one as a wav file. If I can't combine the tracks into a single track with the app, doesn't that defeat the whole purpose of the app?! It is still not possible to record from any location other than the beginning. The built in instruments are about as much use as a nun's t*t! Why are the VU meters still upside down? Why isn't there any time counter? Why are there no wave editing facilities? Waste of money. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — A Great Portable Recording Studio. *2012-04-27, version 3.1* This 4 track is perfect for capturing those song ideas on the spot, in a high quality format which allows for further recording in other programs. There is even a built in synth and an easy to play guitar neck which help you to get your ideas down even without your own instrument. You can also import tracks to add to or play along with, and it really does double as a great practice tool as well. Capturing midi files of your recordings is also incredibly handy, but it's the great simple interface and real power that really makes this studio a great musical companion. ### 5/5 — Very usefull tool for musicians *2009-11-26, version 0* It is not very often that I find an application that makes my life easier. This one allows me to practice without having to bring all my gear. It is a must for any musician. I didn't have this problem a week ago it just happened out of the blue. The developer is right on top of his product and is always making it better and even better. Now all you need is a DSP of should I say RST for a little reverb and compression! Get the program, it only gets better and better ### 5/5 — such a great idea i'm not even going to be that harsh... *2008-12-05, version 0* i've been waiting for someone to come out w/ a multi-track program for the iphone, and i view this as a proof of concept (though one that's not quite ready for the price). the sound's actually pretty good, but here are some features that need to be addressed: 1. there needs to be a way to name, "mix," and save to a combined audio track. ideally one would be able to upload this to a mac/pc, but at least be able to play back on the iphone w/o having to keep the four tracker tied up. 2. there needs to be a way to delete/clear all four tracks so you can get a clean work space for your next song. (UPDATE: DONE) 3. there needs to be individual playback level controls for each track (an when apple ever allows it, mic input level controls during recording). (UPDATE: DONE) good luck to the developer. the gauntlet has been thrown down, and i'm eager to see what folks come up with... UPDATE: The developer has added many of the features I've been wanting. I have had zero problems with it since the update. It would be cool to save or upload digitally, but I'm sure that's coming. Big deal. I have written some cool stuff thanks to this and it wouldn't have happened before. That makes it well worth a few bucks. This is totally my favorite app. A great tool.
