Not happy
I got rid of my Comerica visa because some how no matter how safe I am with my credit card, my card kept getting stolen. I have other visas and Mastercards and I have never had this many security breaches that I do from Comerica. Ever since I got rid of that visa I have never had another problem with my cards. Also with the new comerica app it’s an alright design but also it won’t let me click on the app at all. It’s like it’s frozen but I can use my other apps so I know that it’s on Comerica’s end.

Constant crashes and simply doesn’t work!
UPDATE: March 6th, 2023. I've already closed my main accounts and only have one minor savings left with Comerica. However, I just "updated" the app and it's literally the same exact app, just slightly re-skinned, but they're trying to say it offers "new features." There's nothing new, at all, the menus and logo just look different. This is absolutely pathetic. I encourage anyone who still has accounts with this institution, to close them and go elsewhere, if you're able to. ORIGINAL REVIEW: This app is seriously the worst, most archaic mobile banking app I’ve ever come across in my life! How can a financial institution have an app THIS BAD in 2023?!? Half the time it won’t even load and I have to delete it and re-install. I do that at least twice a week, usually more. I’m so done with Comerica. I’ve had my accounts since 2001 and I’m so fed up that I’m closing them by the end of this week and banking elsewhere. I don’t even know how this bank is still in business. The brick & mortar branches are just as bad as the app! Good riddance!!

Updated app version
I was so ready to switch banks and deal with changing all my billing and payment info which is a giant hassle because the previous app was so terrible. Thank you so so much for updating to a new design. This new version seems much more stable. Now I don’t have to go through that hassle, and I can stay with Comerica.

New Version Lacks in Bill Pay
Rating based on Bill Pay limitation to readily view bill pay accounts set up. Why get rid of the view of all the bill pay accounts already set up? Why am I now required to search??? Before, I just had to look at the list of my vendors and choose. Now I have to type in and search which means sometimes having to guess on a name formatting, etc.
Change this ability to view all my current bill pays I’ve set up and not make me search for them in a search box.
I didn’t like being forced to updating to this latest version in order to use this app on my phone.

From Bad to Worse
This is the worst banking app. I didn’t think it was possible that Comerica could make it worse; but, I was wrong. FaceID and TouchID no longer work on my iPhone or iPads. The type is too small to read. The light gray type just exacerbates the readability issues. I strongly urge that Comerica gets a user interface cultural anthropology team to help them redesign their user interfaces. The folks at Menlo Innovations could help them make the app better, easier to use and most importantly easy to read. I would prefer to give it 0 stars.

Missing basic information
This is more about Comerica as a whole. 1st off, I have a HELOC, a checking account, and a credit card with them. It’s great that you can see the normal checking information, including the ability to take a pic of checks to deposit.
With the HELOC portion, there is no history. Nothing whatsoever. No last months balance vs this month. No rate, not even how much will come out of my direct deposit from my checking. This is just very shady business practice! It’s like they are purposely trying to hide this information.
The next is why isn’t my credit card information linked to my banking? Yes, they are separate departments, but it’s the same bank and the same company! This is once again them living in the 90’s with their banking. Terrible job.

I just dislike the institution all together,
My mobile banking zelle does not work. overall just do not like the institute, they overcharge you, they weekly charge you for everything just not a good bank to bank with. They are not good with customer service. There goal is not to help and fix problems for the customers just collect any type of money they can other than what’s already sitting in your account.

Worst app
I can use this hardly ever. Between it glitching out and not opening when you click the app, to not loading any data once you’re able to get into the app. It’s terrible, I have to delete it weekly and then redownload since it never opens anymore. Please fix this, it’s insane how it never works and I should be able to trust my bank app to open and work when I need it!

iOS 16 Problem
Ever since I updated my phone, I cannot open my Comerica app. When I click on the icon, it appears to open and the entire screen immediately disappears. If I check to see which apps are open, the Comerica app is open but once I click on that page it again disappears. I’ve called Comerica‘s customer service and was told that this is a known issue for iOS 16 and they are working on it but here it is a month or so later and I still cannot access my app from my phone. I would typically access my Comerica app once or twice a day. It’s frustrating to not have it available to me on my phone.

This app is hot garbage
This is a great app if you’re into not being able to launch apps in the first place. Have reinstalled multiple times with no success. How can a major bank have such an embarrassingly frail app? My credit union has a far more effective app. The web version honestly isn’t much better, but at least you can log in and check balances.
