I got this for my wife and another for my kid. My wife makes home infusion therapy visits and she has been verbally assaulted several times and once hit by the son of a patient. She pressed the one button and in a few minutes the cops were on their way with full knowledge of her location. She did. It have to say a word! Other times she would Press the button, and get the emergency operator on the line. That person would be in phone contact with her until she was able to walk out of the situation. If she had had more concerned about her security, the dispatcher would have sent the police immediately. I can also see where she is at any time using this application. I know when she is coming home, when she’s picking up her daughter, or when she is out making house calls.
We were so impressed, we got one for our daughter, who is in first grade. She carries it with her, and knows it when she presses the button she can get an immediate call Lynn to mommy. She doesn’t have to fumble with an iPhone multiple buttons in order to make the call. We also know where she is, and can set up alerts so that we get a text that lets us know when she gets to school, when she leaves school, when she goes to a friends house and so forth.We are not helicopter parents, but when we both work, it’s very good to have that form of contact with her daughter.
The application is easy to use, nicely laid out, and also gives us the ability to see if any neighborhood she’s going into has sexual predators living nearby. Highly recommended.
