Still holding out hope....
I love the wonderful design of this app and the versatile options it offers, and I was really looking forward to using it. However, I've tried everything & I still can't get the sound to work on this app using my iPad. (And yes, I've followed the instructions to turn on notifications, lock screen, & the sound in notifications -- still nothing.) A timer is useless without sound. Hopefully, the developer will fix this problem soon or else I will have no choice but to delete it, even though I would have loved to have utilized this app in my daily life.

Everything looks great, but when the time runs out out, there's no sound alert. Kinda makes this useless.

Visually lovely BUT useless in practice at the moment. Doesn't sound an alarm when the time is up. And no, it ISN'T listed in Settings/Notifications so that you can turn on the alarm. (Am using OS9).
Cool timer.
Visually the timer app looks great. It also has all the different ways of using timer in one app. I like very much.
Room for improvement:
- some of the timer (eg: Kitchen and Countdown) could use more touch gesture to select time instead of popping up a selector dialog. The timer is presented in a circle and it's more natural to spin your finger around to set the time.
- there should be a way to send the dev feedback from the app. I would have done that instead of writing a review.
- besides all these great timer sounds, can you also give the option to have the phone vibrate? I am using the timer in very noisy situation and having it vibrate will allow me to focus on my activity instead of staring at the phone because I can't hear the chime at the end.

Nice app
So far does everything it's supposed to and I have no expectations that that will stop. App features several different colors, many different timer settings as you would expect with a timer, about a dozen or so sounds when time expires. Plus it has a nice UI and sight counts for something. Will run in the background and play sounds when time is up while you do whatever. Very reasonably priced too.

If there’s no __SOUND__ ...
I liked this app, but then the alarm sound stopped working and I couldn’t figure out why. Well here’s the answer… Make sure that the “silence” switch is not engaged. If it is, you’ll only hear sound through a headset. This is different from the behavior of both the native alarms and other alarm apps. (I’m not sure about the audio behavior when “Do not disturb” mode is on. So that might be a factor as well.)

Nice simple choice of functions. Visually very neat. Great app. Loss of star only because egg timer has max time of one hour.

The title is not deceiving. This really is - I believe - the best timer app you will find on the App Store. You certainly get your money's worth.
This app has an awesome design and many choices involving design colour, tones and what kind of timer you will use. Best Timer is pretty much perfect. Could use more tones but not a necessity. Awesome app. Buy this app!! Great job.

Still buggy with latest update. Stopwatch lap function crashes IOS 8. Please fix.
Works fine under os 7 but once you updated to the new operating system os 8, it becomes a space waster.
