Can’t request a ticket refund through the app
I LOVE my local Harkins movie theater but the app and website (since the app is just a downloadable version of the website) need work. My biggest issue is that tickets purchased online should be able to be refunded online. A theater chain of this size should be able to offer this basic service. There is NO mention on the app or website on how to get a refund so I’ll be calling the theater for assistance.Show lessVBCar
“Back” or “Change Showtime” Button Please
We select a showtime and are taken to seating chart to select our seats. However, if we don’t like the seats available and want to check another showing, we have to completely exit the app and start again. Please make it easier to check seating for other showtimes. Very good app!
It’s a very good app! It’s amazing! So when I first got this app I thought it was not gonna be such a great app because of the people that thought it wasn’t really good. So I tried it out and it was good. Not that good of an app. On the second day better but not to good! I wanted to post a letter like this to you but I didn’t have any internet. But, for a little while (I mean like months) I tried it and it was AWSOME!!! So if you’re a person who wants this app (or a developer) thank you for reading

$1.50 charge extra per ticket
The use experience is terrible! And then we all get to pay $1.50 extra per ticket because Harkins forced assigned seating on everyone. So now when I buy 5 tickets I get to pay $7.50 extra. So to avoid this, I get the wonderful privilege of having to go to the theater a few days before the movie to buy tickets.
Also picking seats in the web app is terrible! You have to zoom in to pick the seats, then when you zoom out, any seats that you touch as you zoom out get selected.

Please add the feature where you can add your Harkins card and your movie tickets to Apple Wallet. Also, please add the ability to use Apple Pay. If these features are available and I can’t find them, please make the app more intuitive. If all these features were added then I think I’d buy popcorn perks, because I think I’d go to Harkins theaters more.

They now have the ability to use Harkins Gift Cards, and a new feature to save your credit card is coming. I love being able to reserve my seats so I don’t have to worry about getting to a movie super early. App is terrible
As much as I love harkins For being such A great theatre no matter what city, the app is horrible! If I can give a half star to the app I would, It never refreshes, ALWAYS force closes and this isn’t the 1st time it has said “card error” and then charged my credit card more than once for the same transaction which is tremendously annoying having to call credit card issuer and get reimbursed! 2nd time this has happened while trying to purchase tickets ahead of time while seats for an available time and day are available! Barely worth downloading
The app has design flaws and bugs throughout. There is no “back” feature allowing you to easily going through movies to check seating availability, you have to go back to the very beginning each time. When going to the rewards ID page the screen brightens, but going back or even closing the app leaves the screen set to full brightness, not good for a place that revolves around darkness.Show lessBloodyadmin
Frustrating
If you choose a theater, movie, date, and time and you want to check another option you cannot go back a page. You have to go back to the city/state page and pick a theater, pick a movie, pick a date, and then you can finally look at seating options. Plus I have not found any information on how to get a refund for 1 or your whole group of tickets. Cinemark has a much better app. You might want to look at it for ideas.
This is not user friendly.
I like the theaters, just not the process to purchase tickets ahead of time.

Worst App
Is this the worst app I’ve ever used? Yes. It’s constantly timing out and kicking you off the page. If you had seats selected when you get kicked off, when you go back onto the page, the seats are gone as if they’ve been purchased, but they haven’t!!! You have to log in with your Harkins rewards info, but when you go to buy tickets, you’re redirected to another page that asks for your rewards info. Why wouldn’t they already have it? It’s like a 10 digit number, I don’t have it memorized and I can’t copy and paste it without going back out at which point I’ve already selected seats so when I go back in the seats will be gone!!!!!! It’s maddening. This app is the worst dumpster fire I’ve ever laid eyes on. Get it together.Show lessLswizzle17
