The app is like having a local guide walk around with you. It’s very functional keeping you on track to the next attraction. It’s a no brainer not to purchase. You will not regret it!!

City Walking Made Fun
I traveled like a local on my recent trip to Austin and Memphis. Both cities are in GPSmyCity app and the app was my only source for the information. Other cities we visited I had to research many internet sites to come up with similar plans. Even though we have visited Memphis several times we found several additional sites to visit and enjoy. I found this app to be very useful and easy to use to find and complete preplanned tours of major cities and have several future trips in the planning where I will use it instead of creating custom routes. Highly recommend to get the best of unfamiliar cities.

Happy to have this offline resource
We used this app in a few cities in Spain to help us find our way around. It had good articles and suggested walking routes to help us see key sites. It also took us through local neighborhoods and parks which was nice along with the key attractions with information on each. It was great to have.

Love this app!
Super practical with great deas and itineraries! I always use it in the cities I visit. If you use the maps while walking around, remember you need some data - I use Airalo!

New York tour
Used the GPSMyCity for a recent trip to New York. It was great in so far it provided tours of the various areas of Manhattan and took me to sights I would not have found otherwise. I’m giving it 4 stars as sometimes the map wasn’t quite accurate and I had to use google maps to get back on track.
That being said I would use it again on another trip.

Great app
This is the best app I’ve ever used for touring other countries. I’m getting old and my eyes aren’t what they used to be. I particularly like the maps function. The color coding, compass and details are fantastic and it’s so easy to follow the route. The info on the various sights is also great. Lots and lots of detail for all the walking tours. Very easy app to use and I’m so pleased I found this for my trip throughout Europe. Couldn’t be happier!

Worth the subscription
I used this app on a recent holiday in Barcelona and Girona. It’s so good.
The maps are really detailed and the absolute best feature is having toilets clearly marked. So when you’re out and about on a city walk you don’t have to keep stoping at cafés but can locate public toilets. This in itself is worth the subscription.
Having the maps downloaded is great and the GPS is very easy to follow. We started on walking tour but then did a detour (to buy a football shirt)! So picked it up at a different point and completed it “backwards”. Very easy to do. There was just the right amount of info to be interesting without a chore to read. It was handy that we could have 2 phones with the same account which meant that my husband and I could take turns at being “the tour guide”.
When we were in Girona the walking tour took us on a great route around and we definitely saw interesting parts of the town we’d have missed otherwise, including a walk along the city walls.
There are also articles that you can download too to read before you go on a variety of topics or “lists” e. g. Food, shopping, themes.
Looking forward to using it on our next holiday touring in Sicily and surprised at how many tours it has for even relatively small towns.
One piece of advice - do have a portable charger as if you’ve got the map and info up as you walk it will use more battery than usual.

Great travel tool
Used this app in the Caribbean and in Europe. Worked great. Love the fact it works offline and the navigation tools are great.

Buggy
The app doesn’t let me add a custom location. I’ve tried both methods: use the plus sign (nowhere on the screen) or use the map (long tap doesn’t work)

Brilliant app
I signed up to the free version initially as I’m sceptical about these apps, however it soon became apparent that it was very useful so I took out the years subscription for a reasonable price.
