Quán Thế Âm Bồ Tát, một vị đại sĩ vạn năng, thân thương của loài người ở Ta Bà mà bất cứ đệ tử nào của đức Phật cũng đều hướng tâm lính lễ, cầu nguyện Ngài.

Nếu quí vị chỉ biết trì niệm chú Đại Bi mà không hành trì bốn mươi hai thủ nhãn ấn pháp thì như người có tay mà không có chân, nên không thể đi được. Mặt khác, nếu quí vị chỉ biết hành trì bốn mươi hai thủ nhãn ấn pháp mà không trì niệm chú Đại Bi thì cũng như người có chân mà không có tay, không làm gì được cả. Cũng vô dụng mà thôi. Vậy nên để liễu triệt chú Đại Bi, trước hết quí vị phải thông đạt bốn mươi hai thủ nhãn ấn pháp rồi phải trì tụng chú Đại Bi nữa, mới được gọi là người thành tựu rốt ráo diệu pháp này của chư Phật.
