Such a fabulous company. John Hudspeth and Chelsea McFeeley are an amazing duo. I have had nothing but excellent service from them. John is very accommodating and so knowledgeable and explains things so easily so I can understand. And Chelsea is a joy to work with. She calls back immediately and walks me through completing documents with ease. Honestly I couldn’t have gotten through the passing of my father and his finances without them. Thank you to Merrill for this dynamic duo!!

Prior day performance?
Is extremelyInconvenient that the daily performance , dollar value AND percentage up or down, disappears and cannot be looked at the next morning. This is really bad on Friday performance, where you’d love to know that number with your Saturday morning coffee!
Why can’t they keep that performance posted until a couple of hours prior to the next market opening day?

Does not support VPN
The Merrill app cannot be used with a VPN. This is a challenge when traveling, on open networks, or in foreign countries. This is also the case with Bank of America applications as well. I do not have this issue with USAA, Fidelity, American Express, Capital One, Chase, Discover and Wells Fargo. I have spoken to the help desk and they say that is how the security is set up and I have to accept. I find this unacceptable since my login information should be protected when not on my home network and the app itself is usually not sufficient for a “man in the middle” attack.
The Merrill and Bank of American apps and websites need to allow for VPNs to protect login credentials that are passed before a secure connection is made.

Musta horrible Frankenstein monster
This is what happens when you work with Bank of America. It’s an unholy mess of mixed up accounts you have to dial literally three different numbers and being on hold for over two hours to get someone to help you. And honestly it’s just awful I still can’t even get to the accounts because they sent me up on your different IDs and none of them have all the information and honestly this company should have one website and be able to have one customer service number instead they don’t even know which customer service area to send you to.

BOA/ MERRYL LYNCH
This combination of financial services is unbeatable. I can instantaneously transfer funds from my BOA checking account directly into my investment accounts and vise versa. Investing in Merryl Lynch using this app is as easy as it can get. I can do my homework on 99% of the traded equities right from the app with Stock Stories. This app has saved me money when buying and has created wealth for me when the stock price is met. I cannot imaging a better checking and trading combination available anywhere. BOA stock should be bouncing higher when more and more people are turned onto this wonderful duo of financial services. Thank you BOA/ Merryl Lynch for creating this unbeatable combination.

The Way to Go
Have been using the Merrill Lynch site for many years and find it very user friendly, bill pay, check deposits, etc. and easy to navigate. The type of site I would expect from a top tier full service financial service firm.
Very clunky for trading.
Very clunky and awkward for trading, especially options. Fail to provide even the most basic info. Example, you pull up the options page listing puts and calls, but they don't provide a quote for the stock price, you have to exit trading to get that info unless you select a specific option to trade.
There’s no easy trading emoji at bottom of pages to access to get you to trading pages. There’s no easy way to initiate an option trade if you don't already own the option. I could go on and on.

My team does the best for me to understand what is happening service my needs and are friends after all these years. Could not do this with out them. Patients of Jobe with me. New ML Application Now in the Works for Me
This will really be a great tool when I’m on the go. Merrill has always provided great customer service for my needs — and my wealth manager Chris Carbone is a big part of my success and financial stability — so “I think this could be the start of a beautiful friendship” (Bogie in the last scene of “Casablanca”) that will be even more profitable.

As Good As it Gets
I’m not sure there are two better Apps out there that can do more to make my financial life easier. Between the ML app and BofA I have all that I need to run my finances. The basics are there but when you add My Documents Vault, My Financial Picture, and the BankAmericaDeals / Rewards I’m not sure they could be any better or be my intuitive of my needs.
