  • Good

My four year old is learning letters and reading right now. She loves this app already. So that's good. Also it's not gummy, it works great, no skipping or glitches. So that's good too. Y problems are with the content itself. I wish it taught you to trace the letter, not just recognize it or put the pieces of it together like a puzzle. Also, I wish it would make the sound the letter makes, instead of saying the name of the letter. That helps so much more with learning to read. It never sounds out the letters. (i.e. when she's learning this letter *W* they always say "double U" but never give the sound it makes "wah")
There are so many skills a letter learning app could cultivate and this one seems to be focused ONLY on recognizing/naming each letter. Not sounding them out, not drawing or tracing them, nothing to help them learn to read or write. What good is seeing *W* and knowing "that is a *double-U*" if you don't know what sound it makes? Anyway, the app itself is a very well made app. That's why it gets three stars.

  • UPDATE PLEASE

I do appreciate this app, it’s design, fun colors & age appropriate art. It is very engaging & my toddler really enjoys learning/playing it very much. One thing I would really like for the next upgrade/update to include is concerning the word building games. Currently the app allows for ANY LETTER in a word to be placed in ANY ORDER. With the purpose being learning words/spelling/reading I would greatly appreciate if the letters were only allowed to be placed in the order in which the word is spelled. For instance… W A G O N for wagon, rather than G N O W A, etc. it doesn’t teach the proper spelling of the word if you can enter it scrambled.

  • Toddler loves it but Screen size too big

The screen needs a border, should not max the full resolution. My 2 year old does not know how to hold todays phones without keeping one finger on the screen. Then when he wants to interact the touch doesn’t work because his thumb is already on the screen holding the phone.
  • We’re Speechless

My daughter is two years and a half old and talks here and there, but has struggled with speech. We downloaded this app as a way to entertain her and hoping she would learn eventually, come to find out that she has learned the entire alphabet when showing her the flash cards. We are absolutely stunned that she has learned to recognize and say the letters of the alphabet and some new words, considering that she only started talking recently. Absolutely recommend this app! Total game changer!

  • This app is great!

My grandson has been a little behind the curve verbally. We downloaded this app and he has made incredible progress in just a few weeks. He now knows several letters and can say them, plus he’s learned how to use a tablet. I’m very impressed and would highly recommend.
  • Pay to use

I understand you have to pay for certain things so you can have it but having to pay for more than five words that you can teach your kid which you’re only going to use a few times a day if not none seems a bit excessive.
And yes I understand that this game needs to make money somehow but having to pay for everything and just so you know, I couldn’t even access the App Store to do, it because there is an error just makes it even more wrong that’s it.

  • Doesn’t work with Family sharing or Ask to buy Features

Me and Apple advisor worked together for over an hour via screen sharing but this app didn’t work with both Family sharing and Ask to buy features.

    1. I tried to buy unlock everything on my iPhone and share it with my kid on their iPad but the app wanted me to buy it again on iPad and could not read my purchase on parent account. This app says it supports family sharing.

    2. We requested a refund for this on my account and tried to purchase this directly on the kid’s iPad. I have ‘Ask to buy’ feature enabled, so when I try to do an in-app purchase on iPad, it goes to a parent for approval and charges the parent account.. instead of waiting app just cancels the purchase and asks to update a payment method which isn’t right. So it is a endless loop where you cannot make an in-app purchase.

It’s a shame that an app with 127k reviews cannot work with the latest family sharing features of iOS. Was suggested to find an other app after an hour of troubleshooting session with an Apple advisor

  • Game Changer

Hypocrites are those who think screen time is just a No No duh! Screen Time is great especially if it’s educational and besides, it’s technology. Too much of it is bad, same concept applies to adult of too much usage of phone and social media duh! My son literally learned his ABCs through this App and he just loves it. And the fact that the app is very simple and straightforward is just what we wanted. Very thankful!

  • Fantastic!

Fantastic app for my little one who loves these kinda of games and such. Thanks to family sharing, I was able to have it on the phone I let him use and my own. Developers were quick to respond to my concerns. 5 stars! :)
  • Wouldn’t recommend

I bought this for my toddler and Unlocked all the games so my toddler could play all of the options. It was a good game until I had to delete it to make room on my phone
Than when I downloaded it again, it said I had to “sign in” to my account to be able to unlock my previous purchase and “connect my internet”.
Well, I am already signed in and my internet works fine. I guess they want you to pay again to be able to play and unlock again.
Would NOT recommend unless you plan to not ever delete the game.
I don’t have any issues with other games deleting and installing again after I make purchases.

Generally, it should be possible to tap on the "Restore" (or "Restore Purchases") button in the app (usually found in Parents' section or Settings) to restore the full content within the app. If that doesn't help: Do you use parental control on your device? Sometimes, this error can happen when it is switched on.
