I've been using the Cinemark app for a few years now. I like being able to switch theaters to see what will be convenient for me. It's great to order food and drink in advance, which I pick up in the designated area. They always include everything I'd need. That said, I only get popcorn ( layered butter) and a large free refillcoke ( regular ice ). The convenient ordering is great. For the last two years I've earned "platinum" status which gets me 25% off food and drink and no online fees. The lower level also includes 20 % off food and drinks and no online fees too. Yes I'm spending money to "save" but I like going to the movies for the big screen and professional sound. The app allows me to do so easily. It's also nice to change seats on the app prior to start time.Show less99Cornell

I loved this app for the last 10 years. Used it a hundred times. NEVER had one complaint. My daughters and I got our money’s worth. Unbelievable great value. Told lots of people to get it and join Movie Club. Thank me later!!!
All that changed today. I updated the app. Had to sign in again. That’s never happened. Let me be clear. This is a complaint about the new interface. When I selected a movie to check showtimes, it moved me to that page. However, there is NO PAGE BACK OPTION. You know, that little symbol (<), in the upper left hand corner. It’s GONE. I was stuck there. It didn’t matter if I bought a ticket or not. I could not exit that page. Unless.......I ‘searched’ for something using the search icon, in the upper right hand corner. But, it only moved me to the searched page, WHICH I COULD NOT EXIT.
I’m old, so I remember the world before the Internet. Sure, there are some good things about it. But, this would have never happened to a product designed for human usage. Didn’t anyone try it out before releasing the update? Is there not one person who noticed that they rendered their app useless and unusable??? Or is it just my phone?Show lessFlowey the flower
Life Is Made So Much Easier With This APP!!
The conveniences are endless. If you’re anything like my family and any of you good folks go to the movies as often as we do, then why wouldn’t you use an app as awesome as this? You can also use the APP and pay as you go along, but if your family is like mine, then it’s a must to pay a one monthly fee to get up to 25% off concessions, one free ticket every month, free perks galore. Heck the one extra ticket you receive every month when you sign up for the movie club membership never expires, in which it already pays for the monthly service plus all the epic perks are gosh darn near endless as long as your a club member. Not functional
I have no choice but to use this app because the website is an even worse customer experience. The navigation is horrible and confusing to find what I need. Once I try to make a purchase no option to pay is functioning, it’s only job to take my money won’t work. I constantly have to restart the app to to get certain buttons to work. Once I finally make what I think is a purchase I get the infinite processing wheel. Did I get the tickets? I don’t know. I have to restart the app again to see if I get charged. I have to check my email to get confirmation of a purchase because the app is unable to show me…to put this in perspective I am ordering at 7:30 in the morning for 3 tickets in an empty theater on my home WiFi. I don’t see what the problem is for this situation. They get 2 stars because technically I did get the tickets, but it would have been 1 star if there was no transaction.Show lessITsRomero
No comprehensive tracking feature of movie you watched
I have been a Cinemark Movie Club monthly subscriber since 2018 and I absolutely love it! The app has been a great companion, allowing me to conveniently book tickets and access exclusive offers. However, there is one suggestion I have to improve the app experience.
It would be fantastic if the app could keep track of all the movies that I have watched. Currently, it only saves the movies from the last three months, which can be a bit disappointing. As a movie enthusiast, I would love to have the option to track and reminisce about all the movies I have watched in theaters through the app.
Overall, I highly recommend the Cinemark Movie Club app for its convenience and exclusive benefits. With the addition of a comprehensive movie tracking feature, it would truly enhance the overall user experience.Show lesstripko
Cinemark Membership and Theaters
My two grandchildren and my finecee wanted to go to the movies to see a new kids movie so we decided to get the Cinemark membership rewards card and after purchasing a 1 month membership rewards card, we get 1 2D ticket a month, free, and we can cancel at anytime and still have 6 months to use all are credits! It turned out, we actually saved the price of one adult ticket and 20% off of the concession stand and our popcorn and drinks even get delivered to our seats, pretty cool we thought! So, even if you’re just going for one movie by getting the membership, you pay for the price of it with your 1 free ticket you get at signup and each additional month you subscribe! Being a family of Four can get expensive going out on the town so we just wanted to let everyone know that’s it’s a good deal and you even get to reserve your seats ahead of time for the show you wanted to see! You can also add your tickets to your Apple Wallet for convenience! It was a easy signup process and from start to finish it only took less than 10 minutes! With Cinemark rewards you don’t have to be a movie enthusiast to enjoy nice discounts! So, see y’all @ the movies!!Show lessJdove69

Great app & even better if you join the Movie Club !! If you have any Cinemark Theaters near you I would totally recommend, The Movie Club is only $9.99 a month & you get a free ticket every month which that alone is worth it to me !! They stack so throughout the year if there are movies in theaters that don’t peak your interest you can save them. I currently have 4 which totals $40 the last 4 months. Using 2 for the Radical & the other 2 for The Marvels which would’ve been $69 + Tax. Whether you go to the movies by yourself, with your significant other, or your family I’TS COMPLETELY WORTH IT !! You also get 20% Off Concessions (Excluding Alcohol) , & every dollar that’s spent gets you points which you can later use for numerous rewards For Example : A Free Ticket, Upgrade Tickets To DBOX, Additional 10% Off Concessions making it 30% for one purchase etc. Take my word for it, it’s worth it !! Even put on my co worker on when I explained to him how much you can save with your first month alone !! When there’s there’s that next movie you want to see subscribe for $9.99 & claim your first free ticket which u guarantee it’s cheaper unless you go in the morning. I’d like to add that in order to take full advantage of the savings don’t use free tickets those early mornings 😂 it’s such a waste when the tickets are already so cheap !! Ok, but…
This is a pretty good app, overall. It does what I need it to do, although it can be a bit glitchy at times. Mostly when trying to checkout. My biggest problem with it is that there are no options to checkout without entering in a card number other than the express pay option. Why do we not have the option to use Apple/Samsung pay? Or at the very least, PayPal??? It would make the experience so much better. And a note about express pay option, it doesn’t work. I tried using it 4 times in a row. It does nothing after selecting your card information and authorizing to proceed with purchase. Please give us more payment options. I will hate this app if I have to type a card number in every time I want to make a purchase and I do NOT like saving my card information.Show lessDarresae
Your software updates are TERRIBLE!!
I’m not sure what has recently happened with your software but it’s very frustrating! I applied for two of the last ‘special ticket giveaways’ (GEN V, can’t remember the other) and both times, half way through the process of applying, your system would not download/upload and kept giving me error messages. After at least ten attempts when the screen said I got the two tickets but had to click on “get tickets” again, the system would give error messages.
The next day I logged in and it still offered me a chance to get the tickets, but when I selected the location, it was Sold Out, on BOTH giveaways. Which tells me you oversold the drawing to begin with and now you’re just wasting our time signing in and out to try to get free tickets. So either honor the tickets you said I was granted/won, by only giving enough tickets in the auditorium OR STOP SENDING ME OFFERS!
Just now—I was making another ticket purchase and your system upgrade did NOT carryover my saved credit card information in my membership to make the purchase and had to re-enter the information. Fix the bugs!Show lessLoneRider76
