  • I have mixed feelings

    I raised my ratings because customer service has been great so far. It’s just a little hard getting through a live person. If item is damaged it’s hard to get a refund even with a picture. Sometimes seller marks it as shipped then for some reason when you check your tracking it shows as cancelled. If item was cancelled for no reason all you have to do is take a snap shot of cancelled item as proof and dispute it or contact a live customer representative to get a refund. Another thing is while some sellers are nice and honest, but there are a few that are questionable. I’m not sure if it’s because they do not understand English. I was told they would get back to me about why my order was cancelled but they never got back to me. Thankfully customer service helped me with my refund.

    I think AliExpress improved a little! I think because they are competing with Temu. But I don’t think they can ever match up to with what Temu offers. If I buy from China normally my first pick is Temu because they ship really fast and if you don’t receive your item in the time it’s supposed to be received you get $5. If your item gets lost they automatically refund you. You don’t have to go through the hassle of trying to get customer service to refund you. And they refund you right away!

  • Buggy and really impossible to get real help

    Three stars for how easy it is to find things and the variety of products. Two stars off because this app is so buggy and always has been. The fact that it is almost impossible to make a real complaint is beyond frustrating. When you go to get a a refund you have to upload photos or a video as proof. In some instances only a video can prove that something doesn’t work. However, uploading videos never works. Tonight I tried about 17 times over an hour of time wasted trying to upload a 14 second video proving that the product didn’t work. What I needed to do instead was go find the help function which I might add is almost impossible to find and then had to talk to an agent which took way too long for them to understand what I was talking about. I was forced to upload via Google Drive a video the same 14 second video that just should’ve uploaded via the video function but this app does not work properly. All in all I wasted about an hour and a half of my time and I’m being forced to get a refund when I don’t want a refund. I want a functioning product that I paid for. The fact that that wasn’t an option and the fact that the video didn’t upload in the first place is really poor customer service and provide a really awful customer experience. Do better.

    Overall a great app ,but couple of things to be careful with is the sizing and especially with shoes,most only go to an 11 but 9 out of 10 times an 11 is actually a 10 so they come up small, if like me your an 11 you can’t go for the next size up as there isn’t one. The second thing is sometimes the quality of certain items isn’t great but with that in mind check the price ,mostly bargains galore but not everything is any cheaper than other alternatives. I have had some great bits at great prices and I have also had some rite old rubbish,under sized and poor quality,but Ali express is always happy to step in and deal with any issues and 9/10 times a full refund is issued if you’re unhappy.
    Must say as an update,sizing is terrible,it’s so hit and miss,one item will be massive the next tiny both same size.
    It’s starting to put me off buying anything clothing wise as I’m just giving them away due to them being untrue to size.
    I don’t see how hard it is,why can’t every country follow the same sizing,at very least why can’t all the companies using Ali use the same sizing,at least we would stand a chance of finding a size that fits

  • Good app

    I shop from AliExpress regularly and although some things are really good you have to bear in mind that some things aren’t as they seem neither. I have learnt to triple check all dimensions yourself rather than relying on pictures.
    I shop from a select few sellers now for my electronic parts so I know I’m getting a good deal. Like any other selling site though there are “fake” items so don’t be surprised.
    When things don’t go according to plan with your order, which is not often I must say, it can be frustrating after waiting for up-to 2+ months and the process for getting a refund could be more straightforward because it’s the buyer that has to prove they haven’t received a delivery, I mean how do you prove you haven’t got something? So I always pay with PayPal because it’s that extra piece of mind if things do go wrong.
    All in all though I’ve had 98% satisfaction rate and things seem to be getting better recently too. Don’t be in a rush for things unless using the choice deal, which can take anything from 7 upto 14 days. Otherwise expect to wait around 3-9 weeks. Always check price elsewhere too because not everything is cheaper by the time you take into account tax, delivery and the time it takes to get to you.

  • Ali Express is my go-to for online shopping

    I really love using AliExpress. I’ve been using it for about 10 years now. It beats Temu by miles. The product descriptions are thorough (unlike Temu with very limited product descriptions) and it’s especially assuring to decide to by when other customers have uploaded images of the product that they’ve already bought and given their review – it makes it really easy to trust what you’re buying. Plus, Ali expresses after service Customer Support chat is sensational. You’ll get your money back, guaranteed if something is wrong & I’ve found the process to be seamless & it always seems to be steered in the buyers favour if there is any sort of problem. So you can really have a lot of confidence shopping on AliExpress! Plus, you get bonus coins (shopping rewards) when you spend, which gives you small discounts on future purchases. Another handy tip, if you’re ever shopping locally, and there’s something that you like, take a photo of the image and search for it in AliExpress! The chances are you’ll find the exact product for about a fifth of the price on Ali, because almost Everything comes from China anyway, you might as well skip the middle man and buy it straight from the source and save yourself a packet!

  • Easy way to shop in China

    This app is very easy to use and enables you to purchase from online sellers in China. Much like any other online retail experience, you’re presented with images of the product, though some might be misleading, the app is very visual. A description and price for items and shipping is displayed too making it easy to compare items saved in your shopping cart or wish list. Having a mobile app as well as a website allows me to browse on the go and make purchases where ever I am, tracking is offered though not always reliable or updated, this feature could use some work. Overall I like the app and will continue to use it and recommend to anyone wanting to make orders from suppliers in China.

  • Refund problem

    Was ok until I bought a mobile phone the phone arrived damaged the seller wouldn’t refund and AliExpress didn’t step in to help at all I return the phone back by DHL over a month now still waiting for refund and not get any answer that are they going to refund or not AliExpress is the one provide the seller for people to shop from ain’t it should be AliExpress responsibility to help us when we have problem specially when the product arrived damaged I already lost some money on sending back the phone but now not sure if they are ever going to refund me at all big disappointment Everything is fine until you got a problem then take AliExpress long time to help me out sometimes don’t even get any help and some of the seller are very bad

    So this year I had a lot of problems with AliExpress slow delivery some items waited nearly two months and order come part missing few times and broken items which uploaded photos and video but didn’t get any refund or resend their dispute team found any excuses not to refund so now I completely deleted the app and I am never shopping from AliExpress again all crooks and con men unreliable can’t trust them at all my advice found better shopping app like Temu fast delivery very reliable and very helpful nothing like AliExpress service gone right down my rating one star is even too much lol

  • One of the most unpleasant online shopping experiences

    When the search term finds the item I am looking for and it is in stock and I can work out the price including postage, it works. However, I can spend hours searching through the long lists of irrelevant items for the one I wanted and often not finding it. In between, the intrusive lists of offers of things I don’t want, discounts on things I have already bought and irritating gaming advertising make it harder to find and order items I do want. Today, for the first time I spent more than two hours going through and selecting items for free postage at great prices. Then I was told I had one item too many and needed to remove one. I did that and went back to the list where everything had changed in seconds from for sale to sold out. I will not waste my time on that again but it won’t stop Ali Express from making offers which don’t exist.
    It gets worse. Just when I think I’ve mastered it, I click on offers for items with free delivery if you order three. I select two, look at something else and cannot get back to that particular basket. The home page shows my basket as empty. I spend hours trying to find the items again but no luck. This is not even a fault of the app. This is Ali Express marketing.

  • Good site if you can dodge the waffle

    Have bought a lot of things through here and only once had an issue where I couldn’t get a refund but the trader was a liar. I’ve upgraded from a 3 to a 4 as it appears to be improving. Trouble is they can’t control all of the traders and some of them are very poor, I suspect they just hope people will not ask for a refund ! Can’t give a five because too many traders use tricks on their listing with something being $3 and then $40 postage etc !! Until these fakers get throw out a 4 is as high as it can go. AliExpress are going to have to up their game as they’re losing a lot of business to Temu who have cheaper and much faster postage.

    The other annoying thing is after you buy something they then bombard you with ads for things you’ve already bought, completely useless and very annoying.

  • Items won’t be delivered. Refuse to refund.

    Order at your own risk. This site has gone downhill from what it was big time.
    From items saying that they will be 12 day shipping, but then it takes about two weeks for villa to actually ship the item so it’s really one month shipping to 6 weeks.
    If an item has been marked as delivered and you try and dispute it saying that it has not been delivered, they will not refund you. They will give you 48 hours to respond and try and say you need a document on a letterhead from your shipping provider which we all know is pretty much impossible to get from shipping providers and most of them take more than two days to even respond. But then the document needs to be on a letterhead so the time has expired and the case is closed and then you will not get your money back so it is full of scam and tricks. It hardly ever what they are in photos.
    If you order a couple of things from different stores than your shipping will be even further delayed. Your item will be sent to a consolidation warehouse for up to 2 weeks which then drags out the shipping time even more.
    Absolutely useless better off sticking to other sites. Customer service is absolutely useless and you’re only speaking to robots.
