Straight forward and easy to use
I have no problems really with this app, pretty much the same as other similar store apps. My only complaint would ever be that I don’t like the hard sell of items I’m not interested in. The woman’s lingerie for instance. I’m not a woman for one. I’m also not that keen on the constant reminders to have push notifications on and the whole specials etc etc. I could do with all that but apart from that I’m happy with it. I have discovered an issue with the app that has caused some inconvenience, where if I have two or more credit cards saved, when selecting buy now or check out it doesn’t give me the option to choose which card to use and will simply pay by the last card used. This caused the payment to be made by the wrong account, causing me to apply for a refund, then to proceed with my purchase, going onto my PC and making the transaction there where the option to choose which credit card to use is available before payment. It’s way to quick to buy and pay on the app, as a result it’s happened twice now.Show lessMarshfly

This is a nice app. I've been using the AliExpress app for quite some time, and it has consistently exceeded my expectations. The variety of products available is astounding; from electronics to fashion, I can always find what I need. For majority of my purchases they have been great. But for one of my purchases the seller did not ship the item I purchased. He sent me half the item that did not work also, which I showed support. I made a video showing the item did not work but support said not enough evidence.
The dirty seller won and I got nothing from it, the item shipped to me was not as advertised which support should have realised. They could have even issued a shipping bag to ship the item so they can inspect themself.
Ending the case and leaving me with nothing except a broken phone motherboard till today I don’t understand. The seller also tricked other buyers, if you look at buyer feedback history. Support team needs to more wise about case management, anyway I was already out of pocket so if they expected me to return the item from my own pocket I would of been angry so I just been trying to forget that purchase.

Clunky and can be hard to navigate
The app is ok, but clunky and things can be very hard to find. It should be much more refined & useable by now. MANY ANNOYANCES including: The product filtering is not good and has flaws eg when putting into $ order, often items disappear. Why?? Need to keep checking it hasn’t lost my local currency and defaulted to US$. There is no way to sort on delivered price, that is cost plus delivery. Delivery prices vary wildly and what appears to be a cheap item can be more expensive than items with higher buy prices. Also when searching for a specific size item, eg in clothing or in SD/TF cards, or in just about anything listings appear that don’t have the specific size being searched for, or that do have that size but don’t deliver to where I reside. Very annoying that sellers put a very cheap accessory to the main item in the ad so they come closer to the front on $ sorting. Sellers don’t put measurements onto product and then send different sizes to what is in photos. The. When disputing AliExpress want you to send them photos which show measurements. What’s the point when it doesn’t look like the photo in the ad. And that’s just a sample of the problems.
Finally, the app keeps ‘forgetting’ that I have logged in the previous day and restarts the day count meaning you have to recommence earning points, even though the ‘earn extra points’ section has retained the bonus points garnered yesterday.Show lessmeltam
What Did We Do Before Ali?!
Ali Express is a wonderful site, full of items that are hard to get hold of anywhere else. Their support is excellent, the sellers are diligent and honest and the value is nearly always unbeatable. The app itself is simple to use and the only thing I’d change is the search; whereas the website allows you to search unhindered, the app projects your former searches within your current search, so if you were looking for a Tamagotchi earlier and are now looking for earrings it can get a little confusing! Fixing that would make it a 5⭐️app, imho but in terms of mobile experience it’s probably a lot easier to use the app if you’re searching on a phone. I❤️Ali!🥰
Update: Ali Express is still amazing and…despite those of us now having to pay tax due to Brex5h1t…it’s still way cheaper than Temu and all the copycats springing up. Some good news is that the shipping is way faster than it used to be thanks to Ali’s Global Shipping program which offers exceptionally good AND FREE tracked shipping over £8 from participating stores. I’m still a fan after years of use, the slightest problem has always been dealt with by instant refunds from superb customer service and the products are a tiny percentage of what you’d pay for the exact same thing elsewhere. I used to use another app to purchase a host of items but specifically for clothes (lingerie) for my significant other. While looking for a unique style outfit at a better price then what I found it for at a major primary Internet Retailer I stumbled upon this App. Not only did multiple stores offer it for significantly less then anyplace else, by accident while browsing the app I came across various items and gear that I could use for work. I immediately downloaded the app and purchased some Cutting Edge Tech items for work at 1/3 of the price point I was paying from my primary sources. It was the same brands, the same product, the same quality devices. They installed the same and we were able to have direct contact with the manufacturer!! It was a game changer for my company. At the price here I ended up with three units instead of one units. I eventually was able to outfit all of my company vehicles with the Same Thermal Imaging Systems. By doing this I was able to gain an advantage during our escort convoys and it has without a doubt saved lives in the long run by giving them better situational awareness and the ability to spot potential trouble ahead take initiative and control, turn the element of surprise and or avoid issues. Delay orders
My experience with Aliexpress has changed, I used to order off her alot and most order would be delayed or came in time. My recent purchase from Aliexpress has been very bad. Firstly, it didn’t arrive in over 3 months and as I write this I have contacted the agents available on the app. Secondly, some of my orders have been listed as ‘confirmed’ unknowingly (without my knowledge) This has been a similar case with a couple of my friends and one of them has a missing order as of last year. Since I have ordered off of here before I thought I expected my order to come on time especially when I selected items that were “12 day delivery”. Which it wasn’t, I was lied to. When contacting customer service it’s always a struggle and the order disappear which really bother me, I am taking this case serious by writing a review because I spent a big amount of money on this order. Although most of my order has not been delivered only some have, but doesn’t mean I am okay with the other parcels not being delivered and my friends not receiving their orders, which is quite alarming. And not to mention the agents sometimes takes forever and I have to keep on messaging them and one agent had left my case. Overall if you want to order off Aliexpress I suggest taking these points into consideration if you’re willing to take these risks you may reach when using Aliexpress.Show lessF14kYou
OK app, but this is because average store shopping became so much worse
There are few things that I definitely don’t appreciate in shopping apps: Item photo pictures one product, but price is for another, different or smallest option. Like showing a set of 64 fishing lures priced 5$. Not until you click and research product options you realise that you had been tricked. For 5$ there is 3-piece set; the one pictured in the posting is 30$. May be it is a common and acceptable trickery in China, but no respectable store should allow it, in my opinion. Every online store must ensure that price shown corresponds to pictured option. Impossible to sort by price for very same product. Multiple sellers offer exactly same thing, at very different prices. Some items on featured sales priced higher than regular price from another vendor. You never sure if you get good or best deal. Takes a lot of time to manually sift through thousands of items. Would be great to have more consistent catalog regardless of seller. Unpredictable (for me) behaviour: sometimes I can add products to shopping cart; sometimes I can only ‘purchase now’ - no shopping card option. Sometimes price in shopping card is different than when I saw and selected it. Then, there are subsets of special offers that you have to select 3 or more… running in parallel with your Shopping Cart and BuyNow items… Confusing and discouraging experience.Show lessB_K_L

Many different items and products that are offered. If you plan on purchase items Please use AliPay, AliExpress will ensure that product(s) that are purchased are as described and shipped in proper form, in quality and customer satisfaction, they will NOT release the monies paid to the Seller/Vendor(s) until the Customer is satisfied with all concerns regarding products purchased and guarantees, and also submit by pressing the CONFIRMS button which is when you as a customer gives AliExpress the go ahead to release the monies to the Seller/Vendor The only problem is that: Many Sellers/Vendor DO NOT include installation instructions and/or Product DIRECTIONS , for some reason I’ve noticed this with a high volume of overseas products. So if you need to have the proper information you will have to asks for this information from the Store you purchased your items from, which I strongly believe should be a Set Standard Procedure by AliExpress also the Shipping Packaging should also Standardized. Overall AliExpress has done a TERRIFIC JOB ensuring that the Customer is being Properly Serviced in mostly all aspects of their overall online shopping experience.
