BNI timmer
Better than using the timer supplied at the meetings. I can actually figure out how it works. Easy to use.

Good but not great. Need to be able to use the bell while the phone is on silent the way you can with an alarm. I likely will not use the app until this is updated because I can't have my phone off of silent during the meeting and the only reason I wanted it was so that the ding would happen automatically.

Great for what it is. Could improve
For those who say the iPod/iPhone app is sufficient, this fills a real niche on the iPad, which does not have a baked in clock app. Great as a BNI timer, very decent job.
This could be GREAT all around app that puts the BNI logo in front of people on a constant basis if the following was added:
Multitasking. The app does not count time when its not in the foreground. This is a standard feature for ios5.
Multiple rings, including one that doesn't go off until the user interacts.
These features would make the app much more robust and useful.

Easy to Use, Easy to See
Great FREE app, nice big numbers so speakers can see at a glance how much time is left. Well done!
Lame
First, use the iPhone timer if for any reason it's because the iPhone has more alarm sound options and it's louder. And second, rather than have made a timer, you should have made a referral app that can be emailed or sent via mms. (see BNI merseyside app)

Redundant
Really cause doesn't every iPhone have a stopwatch/timer? Do I need a separate app to do that? Good effort though. Maybe include a business card scan app or another way to manage referrals and chapter members info. Possibly track cha-chings and one on ones
Still doesn't multitask
I'd hoped that the update would have addressed this obvious oversight. The fact that the timer stops running if you switch out of the app makes the program much less usable. PLEASE fix this in the next update.
Very limited
Can't get this to time anything other than their presets, which might be how BNI does things, but in the real world, applications are much more varied than this. Waste of time. Went for pClock instead.
