Beyond recognition

Opened the BeFunky app today to create a collage for my blog and it was beyond recognition. Too many changes. You need a PHD to figure it out. I think they’ve made a big mistake and am looking for a different app that is similar to what this app use to be with grid and editing options! This is AWFUL! Let me repeat, AWFUL!.. and I’m not in the mood to figure it out! Or, Pay whatever fees are associated. What was once a WYSIWYG APP is now an abomination! BeFunky BeGone!

Update: Changed to PicCollage which has the basic grids I use and am figuring it out…much simpler than trying to try and interpret the new BeFunky revisions!

Bad reviews are false

This is an extremely high-end photo editing app. They have now updated it to be fully like the web version, which is essentially photoshop but more user friendly. People leaving bad reviews are those who want everything in life for free. They still let you do great edits for free, but if you want the high-end features of course you have to pay, go get a job.

I 1000% recommend this app and the subscription, you will get so much work done!

Where’s my free version?

I’ve had this FREE version for years but I opened it this morning to find this latest update has made everything chargeable!
I feel cheated!
It’s a great app but to suddenly say that’s it you’ve got to pay for it, without warning, feels underhand!

Avoid

Can’t believe this developer has created a version that only those privileged with some of the latest chips can use. My device supports iOS 15, but doesn’t have the chip. Really bad as last version worked fine. Why are these companies so insistent on creating apps only for those with the latest tech?!? Update following Dev feedback: Phone supports latest iOS. I have 15.5. You’ve designed your software to only work with specific chips, what’s more to say? You’ve created a version for the privileged!!

Update 2: The download new version option won’t go away and interrupts other apps from downloading. This is a royal messup!!! My only option is to delete the older app completely even though it works. Congrats BeFunky, you’re the best - not.

Was good now defunct on my device

The new update is ‘not compatible with my device’ an iPhone 6sPlus running the latest IOS. The update notice will not go away. I’ll find an alternative app to delete this one to get rid of that. It’s all very well improving your app but you’re ignoring a large amount of previously faithful users who have no intention of continuously buying the latest phones in the current financial climate. Disappointed.

While we do offer an update, not all devices may be compatible with the latest version. Due to the robust nature of the update, it requires certain hardware to be able to run on a mobile device. While we wish the update notification was something that we could control, the notification that you are seeing is coming directly from the App Store. Was a great app, then they sneakily added cost

A great app which did everything I needed. Sad to open it today to see that the latest “update” was actually a major change to highly monetise the app. whilst major upgrades and expansions to features have happened, it now requires an expensive subscription!

Our Plus subscriptions allow access to a massive library of additional tools, effects, and customizations that were not available in the previous version. However, almost all of the previously free tools are still free! Please email support@befunky.com and we would be happy to guide you!

New design

I like BeFunky, don’t get me wrong. It’s a good app. I made a lot of stuff with the app and for a long time it’s been my go to app for collages. Then they changed. Now I’m cool with change, it’s part of I get that. However, when you have really cool collage stuff and you say it’s only for the people that pay a subscription, that I’m not cool with. And there is no way I’m going to pay to make collages. I mean shouldn’t all the templates be free for everyone to use? Regardless if they are a plus member or not? Okay okay, rant over

Fun To Use

I love this app. It has a lot of good features that work well for me for making my photo affirmations.
What would make it even more helpful would be to have a way to measure where the center is when resizing or moving a text box and a sensory function for alignment of text boxes. It would also be great to have an edit option for text after it’s been selected with the tick that locks it in place.
