Recently renewed my subscription on my iPad and had an issue trying to have the renewed subscription register on my iPhone, contacted Customer Support and Ryan provided tremendous help. He responded quickly and helped we work through my issue exchanging several emails all with thorough and detailed steps to identify and resolve my problem. Hats off to CCW and their top notch Customer Support!

A great app for CCW PERMIT HOLDERS!
This is a great app to keep up with all the latest laws in regards to CCW! I travel a lot and I’m really thankful for all of the great information and guidance that this app offers. This app tracks where your permit(s) have reciprocity and also shows you that info on a nice U.S. map. It has an area where you can keep track of your permits, weapons, expiration dates, etc.
I recently had a problem transferring my subscription to a new phone but the customer service, ( thank you, Ryan!), was right on it and got everything on to my new phone! It’s really nice to see great customer service along with a great app!

Not enough features for my needs
As a young adult, I wish this app had more features, like being able to adjust the customized map for age. There is no way of telling the app my age to get an accurate map.
I also wish there was an open carry map, because even if one can’t conceal carry in a state, that doesn’t mean they can’t open carry. I would also like to see that map adjusted for age.
The app told me to send an email to the devs before leaving a review, but that functionality did not work for me.Show lessMike__18
Email support
Can you provide an email address to contact for support? I’ve tried it the app and an error comes up. I’ve renewed my membership and on my devices it says it failed to restore when I try so search by my Apple ID email address. Thanks for the reply, unfortunately there is no feedback button on the developer homepage. Can you just reply. With the fix for the cloud sync issue?

I used to purchase relatively expensive annually updated printed manuals regarding CCW laws when traveling out-of-state while armed. With this app though, one can have all of the information that is necessary to stay within the boundaries of the law while traveling in this far less-expensive, easy-to-use and easy-to-carry format. The interface is simple and clear, with state reciprocity features and individual state laws categorized nicely for fast reference. Actual detailed text of each state’s laws are included, for those who want to read more deeply into specifics.
In recent times in our culture, we are hardly ever without our phones on ourselves; so as we carry our firearms for protection, we are also not likely to ever be without the information that we need to be aware of local relevant laws, wherever we might happen to go in the United States, with this app.
I did have an initial hiccup upon downloading this app regarding the subscription claiming to have already been expired even though I was a new customer, but Ryan gave swift and effective customer service after sending him a quick message through the app, and everything looks great now!

Not worth it!
I use a similar free app and thought I’d give this one a try. When I was trying to enter my CCW permit date for the reminder, it wouldn’t let me type my expiration date in the field and the scan text feature didn’t work. I then went to the vault to see if it would allow me to save information on all of my handguns and discovered that you have to pay an additional $.99 for that. Since the initial app has glitches, there’s no way I’m paying any more money for this. That was my first impression, so I deleted the app. It is not a big deal to lose $1.99, but I guess you live and learn.Show lessParafister
My GOTO For All Things Gun Related
This APP and the way it is setup, updated and to the point on every state is a blessing to every gun owner. I check with it “every” time I travel…even in my own state. The information is laid out in the terms provided in the law with supplemental information added. There are no personal opinions or ways to go around the law which could put you in duress with law enforcement.
Information provided in an easy to follow format that allows you to make decisions for yourself.

Privacy Issue
Right after I downloaded this app, I opened it and clicked something that said Legal Advice. It immediately opened Google Maps and threw “Criminal Defense Attorneys” into the search bar and pushed enter for me. So now that search is FOREVER connected to me. Google tracks everything you do. I go to great lengths to prevent exactly this. Thanks for sending my info to Google and their thousands of partners that purchase that information.Show lessHelicopterKris
