Slow and buggy

Looks like it was developed in 2002 and feels as fast. In desperate need of a rewrite. I can’t even register an account.

At some point recently, the app changed to where I have to enter my login and passwd everytime I open the app again... what changed and how do I fix?

Best app

Love this app. It has saved us some much

UPDATE: Hands-down amazing app to track our son's Type1!

Scroll down for my thoughts, three weeks in!....

Literally just downloaded this five minutes ago... Easy to set up. My spouse and I both tried adding meals, glucose, insulin intake... It sent each of us texts to alert the other of the entries. The formal spreadsheet looks PERFECT for presenting to our doctor for visits, and my son can also add his own numbers.

Our 10y/o was just diagnosed last week.... So this is all so new to us. I'll keep this posted, after using it for awhile. But this looks PERFECT, to keep us all in the loop of his numbers and food intake!!

UPDATE- 6/29/20:
This has been such a wonderful addition to keeping up with my kiddos numbers! Went for a follow up visit (his second since diagnosis), and the doctor asked for our records for him over the past week... And this shows everything in such a nice, way format that is quick to be able to point out highs and lows - the doc was impressed!

I also had to leave my son with a family member, as I had to travel for work this week. So, I was able to quickly and easily add them as another caregiver, show them how I add in the "notes" section the exact food he consumed... And now when she put it in, I can see everything as soon as she confirms it. Brings such peace of mind.

Only suggestion:
I love the quick edit for the "main meals and snacks"... Just wish there was a way to edit others (ie, Post- excercise, if I realized forgot to add something), after inputting. But it is a minimal issue.

Ps - We have had no issue with this crashing, as other users have stated. Sometimes it takes a second to populate, but not a big deal at all.

Ugly and laggy

The layout is so ugly like omg every single log app is so cute and this one is repulsive plus it lags and freezes a lot

Had some frustrating glitches

This app is tremendously useful and important, but if you click submit before you click calculate you end up in a painful loop of ads and the submission page MiNUS the calculate button. Seems like it would be an easy fix. This is a problem for new users. Always have a backup calculation method.

Amazing for my T1D son

I was having an issue logging I . I sent an email to Pam Henry(the creator of the app) She called me back in less than 30 minutes AND solves the issue for me. This app gives you overall reports that you just can’t create by handwriting your logs. It also makes communicating with your school and Dr so much easier. I am beyond impressed with this life changing app. Thank you Blue Loop for helping my son and I.

Great App

Had an issue with the app and they were able to fix it right away! Convenient to help figure out insulin dosing and keeping track of blood sugars.

Too many crashes

The app is adequate for sharing data, it gets errors and crashes too frequently. Need to clean up the code.

Like dr connectivity, constant errors

I like that the endo can view numbers and let us know any adjustments to make but I’m constantly getting errors. I know it’s meant to be used online and “the app is extra” but to be used regularly it needs to be accessible easily on mobile devices. I cannot currently enter anything from the last few hours because of the errors that pop up, and this isn’t something new, the app errors out quite often.
