Confusing and absurd experience
I have been a customer for over 20 years and admired how ING was many laps ahead of everyone in self banking, home banking and everything technology based. However the disappointment and frustration I have just experienced with their mobile app and "CLOSE CARD" action was huge. The version that i have has no temporary block of the card, just CLOSE CARD. How often is this even used by customers? All I was trying to do was to update the card info after the old one expired. No warning that the action was irreversible or the fact that my card had been already updated the previous day when the new card was activated. How often do people decide to CLOSE their cards? And the fact that this cannot be undone even by their support people is even more frustrating.
