App problems
The app stopped working 3 months into my subscription. Hearst couldn't help me as I bought it via iTunes and they cannot access my details. Apple support couldn't help me as its's a third party app. They offered to cancel and refund, then 30 seconds later said they couldn't as the subscription was too old. (They sent me 3 credits for 3 film rentals instead, which is a nice gesture, but not really what I wanted). Shame, I really liked the magazine as well.

A great read
I discovered Esquire magazine on December 2009. It was Christmas and somehow the family had forgotten all about me. They had also forgotten about a bottle of whiskey that was close by and I gotta say, this is the most decadent and relaxing read (and drink) I can ever recall. Since that day I have always looked at Esquire with a 'not to be mentioned outside of Vegas' attitude, and with a sparkle in my eye. I still regularly read it, and I have no problem with the magazine in digital or hard copy form. So, Esquire Christmas 2009 - a man moment to always remember

Paid for issues aren't available
I've been a subscriber for years. I have lost all but the 2016 issues. Their response is that they are no longer available after the app upgrade. This is NOT acceptable. I paid for them and I want them back. They should make them available to subscribers as a PDF download or in a stand alone archive app at the very least if they can't bother to figure out how to make them available in app (which every other app manages to do after an upgrade). They have no appreciation for their subscribers.

Missing issues I paid for
My app disappeared, reloaded, restored purchases and nothing. Andd it has some nonsense about an upgrade and only 12 months available. I paid for those. I want all my money back
Missing Issues
I subscribed to this magazine earlier this year and shortly after my subscription finished I was unable to re download my issues, love the magazine but disappointed that I can't get back my issues
Where are my old issues?
This is the second time you do a major upgrade to the app and completely disregard the users needs to save old issues. The same thing happened the last time, you completely deleted all the issues that were older than six months.why would you do that if I paid for them? Where are they and how can I get them back? It is very disturbing that you unilaterally decided to delete or keep issues of your choice.
The first time I asked for credit and you gave me a very convoluted way to request for the credit. It is impossible to do. Please return all my old digital old issues. You can't be trusted to store my previous "purchases" and make them available to me. I paid for them so where are they?

Problem with downloading the issues
Never had a problem with this app until the last two issues that wont appear on the library list on time to be downloaded. And now, the September issue is not even showing even after a prompt at the start of August that it is available to download. And its the middle of the month now!!!!! The inept customer service are not being helpful in solving this THEMSELVES but instead would advise you to contact numerous links to Apple. I am cancelling my subscription if this is not fixed since I've already subscribed to GQ a few days ago.

Great for keeping up on the go
I use the app on both my iPhone and iPad - I prefer it on iPad for the full effect of the great interactive graphics. The phone app is good for quick reading on the go.
Easy to install, just as easy to use.

Love the weekly!
Read it every week, great content, great design, looks like all the initial flaws have been ironed out now... Can't fault it! Just waiting for the print mag to be made interactive now (if ever!) and it would be an really great app
