Works great, I haven’t used my check register in years.
I tried the free version and was so impressed I decided to buy the full version. I think that I have been using this app for about 9 years. Simple, user friendly, complete personal accountant. Honestly, I have not had any of the problems described by the other users. It does what it says. I know immediately what my balance is at all times. I know the balance of all my credit cards and other accounts instantly. I can plan better, and track my spending habits at one glance. Of course, I did take the time to examine how it works, and I take advantage of only the features that I need. But the others are at my fingertips if and when I need them. It everything I wanted. Lost All Data
I used this app for about 5 years and was pretty pleased with it. Then they introduced the ability to sync between devices. I liked the idea so my wife and I could see real-time account balances even when we weren’t together but she was reluctant. I should have listened to her! I talked her into using this app and after syncing successfully for about 3 days all of our data just disappeared from all devices! Everything I have had in there for the past 5 years is gone. The developer won’t even return my email questions to see if there’s a way to help me recover the data. Look at other apps.Show lessEmsnurse
Great app, but people complain to much
I’ve been using the free app for a while and honestly it works as advertised. People complain to much about this and that. Those that complain, If ya can do any better then do your own app. Or use a spreadsheet..
Anyways the only flaw i can say is i wish it could be screen optimized for the iPad Pro 12inch. It still works great as is, but it would just make this overall my favorite money management app.. yes even better then Mint in my option.Show lessJoelLopez
Cannot update app since you removed update
Update: Had purchased this app over 5 years ago and liked it since it was very user friendly. However, they updated their app and I lost all my data when the app automatically signed me out and when I signed back in all my data was lost. My wife has the app on her phone and when I went to check her phone that we had the data synced, low and behold the app had down the same thing. I feel sooo sick to my stomach and no support from the developer and I am out of luck and $2.99.
Stay away and save your money!!

I have been using this app for awhile now and honestly can't be happier. I was never good about keeping my check book updated but no problems now.
If you like to reconcile or balance your bank statements no worries. It's quick and easy.
You can schedule recurring payments which is nice as you can see a little bit ahead to figure out if you have enough for that new handbag or not.Show lessKmw516
Accounts get rearranged w/ more than 10
I use checkbook to keep track of a lot of things and have multiple accounts set up, but they never stay in the order I arrange them in. After saving, it always takes the last account and puts it in the 3rd slot or just rearranges them all together. A minor nuisance, seeing as everything else in the app is fantastic, but it gets annoying when the accounts won’t stay where you put them.Show lessDrummerBret
Latest update “no longer available”
I’ve used this app for a long time without issue, until now. Problem is, update 3.3 is “no longer available” which means I can’t update the app and can’t get rid of the update. Now there’s the dreaded red notification bubble on my home screen that won’t go away. Super annoying. No contact info for developer so, gotta air it in a review I guess.
They fixed it and it works great! Thanks for updating the app. I’ve used it for a long time, easy to use and don’t want to start over. 👍🏽Show lessjohnenano327
Update 3.3.1 still not available?
I got a new ipad and I’m trying to setup from my iCloud backup, now I’m getting an error saying: APP IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE.
This is insane, since you have a similar app and the option to upgrade to CHECKBOOK PRO worked just fine. So now, I have 2 checkbook Pro’s of which only 1 is working and the other isn’t working, but all my old files are in the non-working app.... I have emailed you twice, with no response.
Please fix this asap, I need access to my older entries. I don’t care much about spending the extra $3, I just need the old files ... really. Thank you! Please fix.Show lessJeannete99
Worked ok until latest update
It says there is an update but when I try and update the app it says the item is no longer available. What is up with that?? Is there an update or not? Update from 2/22 this item is still in my list saying it has an update and when I try get the error this item is no longer available. It is now 3/8 and this item will not clear from my update items. What is going on with this app? Do you people not know what you are doing?? Why do I get an error every time I try and update? Minor issues! Awesome app so far!
Am using your checkbook app on both iphone and ipad in hopes of eliminating my budget ledger hardcopy.
1 - One question I have is how can I sync the data on the apps so they will be the same? Don’t mind if one is master app and the other is slave app.
2 - Don’t need to print reports, just need to know the balance in each of the categories daily.
3 - Also, eventually I would like to delete a previous months worth of input, how do I do that?Show lessjose240
