  • Hacking

My phone has been hacked bye the Meraki are I need help having it removed from my phone
  • Location Services isn’t working

After updating to the latest versions, location services has stopped working on our devices. It used to be fairly reliable, but recently I cannot get it to use GPS to locate over half of our iOS devices. The timing is bad too - we’ve had 2 iPads go missing since 2.5.1 was released and I wasn’t able to locate either. Not only do I have 2 devices gone, I also look rather incompetent as the IT manager with a tracking system that failed.

The system was great, and can be 5 stars again once location is fixed, but an MDM without working GPS is not so great.

  • Lord Meraki

Literally the worst app I have ever seen.
  • It’s okay

Two big things - location and control - are suspect. On stolen/lost devices, trying to locate them - even last location - has been way off.
There is also moderate tax/hit on battery life for this merely average visibility and control.
  • Enrollment certs invalid

Worked before now when enrolling it fails out on iOS 10.0.2
  • MDM is Great

I am not sure if I am using the dashboard to its fullest extent but have questions that I can't seem to find answers to.

My main concern from the device itself and with restrictions enabled the end user can still go into Settings/General/Device Management and remove Meraki Management from the device. It won't uninstall it and I will receive an email informing me that the profile has been removed. I just feel like it shouldn't allow it to even happen.

I'm probably just not understanding this as it is all still new to me and I'm trying to figure it out as we go. I've loaded 17 devices which is about half. I just need someone with more knowledge to help me out a little bit.

Otherwise, it's been working pretty good. Sometimes I find the location is wrong by a few states. I'm in Columbus, Oh and sometimes it shows devices in Youngstown, Oh or in Chicago, Ill. Which I can guarantee they aren't there when I have them here. From the dashboard I click on Refresh Location but it never seems to do anything.

  • Kids hate, Schools love

Manages your easily walk-off-the-campus iPads. Kids hate it because they can’t screw around on the school’s hardware using apps that you do not allow, nor can they find a way to get around it.
Gotta give it to the kids that take the time to visit the app store in order to skew the star rating. Funny.

  • Free MDM that really works

Cisco/Meraki are really doing us a great service by giving this MDM away for free. They do a decent job of keeping up with the changes and this allows us to manage our devices very well. Can't ask for more.
  • Does what it's supposed to

The other review here make me laugh. This app is doing exactly what it's supposed to. This is a Mobile Device Management app that syncs with a server that is managed my a company (or school's) management platform for managing mobile devices. It manages restrictions and tracks the device's location so that it can be recovered if lost, or wiped if stolen. If you hate this app, you're probably doing something you're not supposed to on a device that doesn't belong to you.

  • Excellent Product!

Does exactly what it's supposed to - secures business/organization/education resources on a device. The negative reviews are bunk - they don't like being restricted to doing only the things they are supposed to.
