  • BEST app of this game

This is SO much better than Yahtzee with Buddies. You have to actually play the game once it starts. The 30 second per move timer is the bomb. Games move swiftly and you can compliment others through chat (or disable it if you don't want to talk). You can win chips from each other and see your overall win/lose ratio. It gives you added satisfaction beyond winning each game. But you can also chose many other options of game play -with buddies and pass/play- as well. There are only a few adds for their other apps that you barely notice because they are presented for your convenience not your annoyance. This app has everything that makes playing a game on my tablet enjoyable. Job. Well. Done.

  • Great!!

A good basic free tatty game. No bells and whistles but everything you want. I just play single player so this is a single player review. But it's got a real clear interface, you can change the game in the options section and so far, no advertising, which to me is huge in free games. Great job. I wish there was a simple dice rolling game that was as well designed as this one. Lots of dice rollers for RPGs but very few for having fun in a bar with your buddies for a buck or a quarter a game. Yatzy works.

  • As close to the old EAS Yahtzee as I've gotten!

I LOVED the old Yahtzee game from EAS that went away with it's wonderful graphics and UI, and this is BY FAR the best version since then. You have the sound and the dice, but you don't have a good view of both scores (playing against the computer) while you are playing. This takes away from your ability to strategize base on your opponent's situation. Fix this, and I will give 5 stars. One nit is that the graphic of the scoresheet would be great too!

  • Dice rolls are NOT rigged

One reviewer stated the rolls were rigged. The evidence was that he got better rolls earlier in the game than later. Of course it seems that way as it is the nature of the game. On the first roll you have 13 open scoring opportunities--no matter what you roll, it fits easily into one of several categories. On the 13th roll, you might only have the large straight open. It is hard to roll that in one turn if it is your ONLY option. Bottom line: dice rolls are random and fair.

  • Fun game, but computer seems to defy the odds too often

This is a really fun game to play that doesn't rev your brain up too much before bedtime. I also love Sudoku, but you will dream about it in your sleep, if you can even get to sleep after a few late night timed games.

My only complaint about this game is that the computer player (AI - not Albert) has an unusually high success rate in converting Large Straights and high-value Four-of-a-Kinds in general, and converts walk-off, game-winning Yahtzees a little more often than odds would suggest.

  • Love it, but please make these tiny adjustments...

I truly am addicted to Yatzy Addict. It's a great game that's easy to play. The rolls also seem fairly realistic as I do play Yahtzee with real dice from time to time. If possible, I would like to see the following adjustments made:

    1. An undo button for the rare occasion that I choose the wrong category by accident. I don't do it often enough to warrant the annoying option to confirm every move so a simple undo button would be nice.

    2. I would like to see just a couple more statistics. For example: Total number of games played and average game score.

    3. I like the sound of the dice roll but hate the old cash register "cha-ching" sound when you make your selection. It would be super if you could either turn that off or have another sound available.

Overall, this is a great game that I really enjoy!

  • Dice rolls are rigged!

At the beginning game you get better dice rolls than at the end of the game. You almost always get what you want at the first part of the game but when you get to the last few dice rolls of the game you seldom get what you want. I know this for a fact for I have played this game literally thousands of times and it's very consistent as stated above. I'd really like to see a Yautzy game game played with the same odds just as though you were rolling the dice by hand all the way through the game. That truly is the only fair way to play the game and truly develop your skill. Otherwise I do enjoy playing this game but wish it was more like the real thing like rolling real dice.

  • Love this game, definitely a favorite

I can say enough about this game...I don't have to wait for lives, nor do I have to ask friends for help...I can play when I want for however long I like, if I had any complaints it would be if you got more that one yatzee, that you could use it or use the points equal to the yatzee on another item...but other than that what is there to complain about, it's great! 🤗

  • Great Yatzee App

Really enjoy the Yatzy (their spelling) game as it is entertaining and fairly easy to learn to play. Single complaint is they should let you know how far ahead of behind pace you are for the 63 points (3 of each ones through sixes) to get the 35 bonus points. This is key when doing 3 of a kind, 4 of a kind and then chance. Still, I dumped the rest of the Yatzy apps and will keep this one.

  • What happened?!

Oh I had such a good review previously but this game has gone downhill since then. Sadly that was only 2 weeks ago.. What happened? 8.4 maybe? The disconnects are unreal lately, I have not been able to stay connected for 1 single multiplayer game. My boyfriend and I don't live in the same town and playing yatzy and farkle here together when we get a little downtime is one of go to things, but lately it's caused more frustration than anything else. Almost worst than disconnects we had a game going between us and at some point he and I were seeing very different rolls and scores for each other. Sadly we have lost all confidence in the game for now. 2 stars because playing the computer seems to still work fine, but without multiplayer the app has little value to me. I'm going to keep it around and hope we see another lovely post saying "the disconnects are fixed" which btw is kind of obnoxious to see when you're constantly getting disconnected ( I know that post is from November, it's just one of those things that makes a bad situation worse). Cheers!
