Underrated for sure
I have found great success with this OCR app on my iPhone. I have found it works well in both portrait and landscape and have successfully used it for large portions of pages of books with good accuracy. I have no trouble recommending this app.
Hit and miss but generally the best out of the OCR apps
Have tried all the main OCR apps over the weekend and this one is definitely the best. You need to hold the page very flat for it to work and it sometimes comes up with symbols but on the whole has saved me masses of time copying.
Didn't work
Tried it on pictures of 2 business cards. Both returned zero characters, but each time the counter reduced by one.

Other apps were horrible, but this one works so far! A bad scan, but that may have been my photography...we'll see!
Useless on iOS 6 and new iPad
Bought this app (full version) yesterday and was VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!! After extraction of the text from the image I got strange strings of words, senseless!!! I de-installed twice and re- installed it but to no avail This is an extracted text from the app after trying for 15th successive times:-

Please FIX THIS NASTY BUG! From your recordS your last UPDATE was on November, 2011. Technology has advanced greatly, iOS 6 wasn't in use by then and even the new iPad. DON'T BUY THIS APP UNTIL IT HAS BEEN UPDATED IN March 2013 or at a later date for iOS 6 new IPAD. The good thing I will appreciate on this app is that it works with over 20 languages which will be great if this bug is fixed. For his reason I give you 2 stars. If the bug is fixed you will receive 5 stars! Waiting for you!

Crashes, unusable
As soon as I click "use" after taking a photo of a document, it crashes (iPad 3). Unusable.
Need to still work with this but I ran out of credits already
2 of the 5 scans I took came out acceptable but I would like the option to make corrections - is this possible?
After I click to recognize the text, I could only view the end product if I was emailing. I would like to be able to view if I'm saving to clipboard also.
How do I get more credits? I need to work with this some more to see if it will do what I need it to do with my students.

Could not even get it started!
I took a picture of a page from a book; told it to convert to text and it did not do anything! Not even mistakes. I tried twice and the result was the same.
Program actually works! Others do not
I've tried the keywords business card reader and none of those applications worked at all. All I got was garbage.
On 2 out of 2 business cards it was 97% accurate. I made a few corrections the first time. Then I realized if I put the phone on a desk, it doesn't shake. Double tap the screen to focus angle the phone to get the glare out of the photo and leave enough margin that it can read the card. It does crop by itself, so if something is cut off from the photo, just pull back the phone a little and tap twice to refocus and snap your photo, it's just that simple.

It actually worked!
Having tried many ocr image to text this one actually worked! Yay! The end.
