One thing to keep in mind. Scan works when you point the camera on the paper in portrait mode not landscape mode

If you just want a straightforward OCR grab of some text this app is surprisingly accurate don't expect any bells or whistles but the app does what it says

Just got mobile OCR yesterday, I took pics of my whole entire research paper and it got converted onto my iPhone. Definitely going to keep this app!!! I recommend you to get this app if you need to convert anything into text; just take a pic and wait a minute. Great app!(:

I think it's important to make sure you start with a good, clear, focused image, and you crop the text you don't want before hand on the normal photos app, and obviously you wouldn't use this with handwriting or unusual fonts (obvious I know, but some people I know don't think of this ...) and yeah worked very quickly and accurately! Very useful :)

Worked until I paid to convert more docs
I was able to convert 3 documents so j paid for additional scans, now it won't scan anything.

If you make sure there is no light glare on the page you are scanning it is almost perfect everytime. Will scan from a kindle screen too!
Crap
The free version let you have five free credits,each credit entitled you to a scan, the result is good. However when you purchase it,none of the scan produce any decent result at all. This looks like a scam to me. Please let me have my refund.this app entitle to no star. Before I submit,it asks you to rate from one to five stars,I have to choose at least one in order for the submit button to work.please ignore the star.
