Excellent content, awful app
The content is as great as you would expect if you're even considering a subscription. The app is awful. Half the the time, you can't figure out which way to swipe to go where you want. Up, down, left, it's crazy.
And PLEASE PLEASE stop the auto playing videos! You open the app in a quiet setting to read for a bit, and all of a sudden the air is filled with the scream of a V12, shortly thereafter followed by the screams of people telling you to shut up.

Should give option to mute the stupid app
Awesome experience
If your considering trying a magazine on your iPad or just discovered a love of cars and literature, look no further than Top Gear Mag. This mag shows you how brilliantly interactive and three-dimensional content can be on the iPad while delivering a very full-fat reading experience. I'm sure the TG team could have just made a simple PDF style page turner but it wouldn't have been worthy of the Top Gear name. Of course there are some little technical niggles that you will occasionally encounter but once you encounter a review of the new Rolls Royce and discover you can look around at the entire high resolution interior of the car using your iPad gyroscope, any flaws suddenly disappear. I guess what I'm trying to say is that with The interactive mag for iPad, TG has created something that is quite simply: "Ambitious but (NOT) rubbish!"
Anybody who reads this: BUY IT, you won't be disappointed.
Also, kudos to the team responsible for this. If you keep up this level of quality, I'll keep reading.

Love the interactive feel

This really is one of the best digital mags, the writing is good and the interactivity is designed very well. I'm excited every time my notification comes up informing me there is a new issue.
Amazingly designed interactive mag
This magazine is designed amazingly beautiful with many interactive features like the 360 car interior view which basically a panorama of the interior of the car where you pan your iPad and looks as if you are in the car yourself.

My Favourite
I read a lot of magazines on iPad and this is my favourite by some margin. The format is clever and content entertaining. Well done!
Not working with iOS7
Since I've upgraded my iPad to iOS7 none of the issues I've purchased will display.
Content Great, App Not
The magazine content is terrific! The new app with all it's interactivity would be great also, if it ever worked. The app crashes constantly. I haven't been able to read the magazine for months for which I paid for a subscription because the app is so terrible.
