It is neat
I actually love it think it's cool to see where these sharks are going. You definitely need to update it more I am giving you 5 stars because the idea of this app really is amazing and I live up in Vancouver Canada and was shocked to see how close the great white "Apache" really got to us. And it was the biggest male you ever recorded. Keep up the good work and please try and throw some more stuff in like maybe why some of them are heading more north is it because of our massive seal populations up here? But kind of weird to because the orcas we have up here don't even seem to hunt seals they're fish eaters but our orcas love human contact up here. It would be amazing to see if there is a great white up here. Should I throw a bucket of blood and maybe a friend I don't like into the water and see what happens? Lol

Rip Off!!!
What a rip. Once you buy it, they tell you it only lasts for a year. That should get them banned from the app store! I want my money back for that misrepresentation of the 3.99 app.
I like the app concept, but it doesn't translate well to the small UI. There is no tracking data clearly defined for each shark or drill down in a location for shark activity over an extended period for surfers or divers who are looking for trends. I support the cause but I'm not ok with the app rental BS. Needs work. Gets boring fast.

Great idea, but...
It gets boring fast and it appears all of the great white sharks have lost their signals. However, I do like that they added tiger sharks. I'm tired of seeing the reviews wanting more shark attack stuff. There are hundreds of thousands of dog bites every year and only less than one hundred shark bites so, what is the obsession? Is it because their teeth are bigger? This app is to fund shark research, not further vilify creatures that already have a bad rap thanks to stupid humans. Anyway, because I know the money went to a good cause, I didn't mind spending $4 on the app but the app itself is not worth $4 if that makes sense.

Dumb reviewers
You guys are dumb. In yellow letters in the terms and conditions that YOU check yes for, explains the subscription and the info about it. Stop complaining. The only think I don't like is that one of the sharks tagged, was not a great white: it was a tiger shark. The fact that this shark was called a great white is very misleading.

Best App Ever!
I love sharks, and have ever since I was like 1. It is the coolest thing in the world to be able to track live great whites. I wish I had found out about this earlier. Definitely worth the price. Get it!

The only app I ever payed for and I'm disappointed. I find it very glitchy also tends to crash. The idea for this app is amazing. Needs to be overhauled.
Out of date
This app is very out of date. It's missing recent attacks up and down the coast. For example it's missing the attack in Monterey California on Eric Tarantino on October 2011. Or the attack in Seaside in December 2011. I also have yet to see a shark that's actually tagged and still reporting off the western coast of North America.
Not to mention the app is pretty unusable.
It's a lofty ideal but don't be surprised when you don't get what you were expecting (like I was).

Informative but lacking
It's a nice app, very informative, but the tracking is for the USA only - great whiles range all over the world - I got the app to see where in the world they get to.
The other features are ok, if a little slow.

Great app, but interface could be improved
Love this app. one improvement might be to be able to monitor the sharks, without the attack icons on the map.

I haven't noticed any changes either so I ain't sure if it's a con or if it's just that they haven't been above water long enough to be detected. I guess time will tell
