It used to work
Sorry I did an upgrade on my iPad. It was working fine. Now, although the program installs, the exe won't load. I will keep checking for fixes. Vanishing is losing sales by not making sure all platforms are happy.

This app is atrocious, in fact probably the worst performing one I have ever downloaded. It stops It starts it freezes it buffers. In short it is A1 frustrating.
This is ironic as you expect an app on magic to deliver in a slick smooth and professional manner. Not so!
I'm actually ready to give up on it, which is a pity because the idea of a dedicated magic app for iPad is wonderful but unfortunately that's all it is at present - an idea.
Magic is great but the last thing you want is for your audience to disappear. And that's not a great trick.
Get the Hey Presto debugger out guys and get this thing up and running as it was intended.

Bugs in iPad version
Latest version works fine on iPhone but on iPad there are no stream/download option buttons.
Since installing I have lost my previously downloaded content and when I select a video I now get streaming audio only. Can you look into this please?

Experience becomes because of video
The previous app version was working fairly well before. But it had its download problems. Moving on to the current version, not only is there a download issue still. There is now a video play back issue. Video does not play after its been downloaded. The PDFs are fine. The new UI is okay. It certainly seems better than the one before. Please fix the video issues as soon as possible.

Warning!!!
Not a single of the videos I previously downloaded will play.
The sound plays but all I see is a dark screen that says 'video loading'. No videos ever load up.
Stay away until this is fixed.

Awesome app for any magician on the go
I love having up to date ebooks and magic vids with me while I sit in the waiting room at the Dr office for hours sometimes ( substitute subway, train, study hall, or wherever you have spare time). The only problem to me is waiting for Apple to let them make some videos available on iPad but the solution is to download the VLC app to iTunes and iPad then buy the video via the website and download to your computer. Then while syncing your iPad or iPhone go to apps, scroll down to bottom and click on VLC player, then drag and drop the video. You will just have to watch it from there instead of the app until they get the proper approval from Apple. Solid app would highly recommend it to anyone seriously into magic. 5 stars

Good catalog - bad learning tool
The app is great sales tool for Vanishing Inc and for the customer to review the offerings in the download catalog. You can preview and supposedly buy - this never worked for me. I purchased through the website.
One of the incentives for the app was the Jon Allen book. But they never included bookmarking so every time you open it, you start on page one. The "bait and switch" with the Allen book is a whole different story. They said it was only available as a download for $40 then a short time later reprinted it. Purchasers of the e-book are stuck with a poor to mediocre app.
The app is slow and clunky. It seems to stop and its a challenge to determine what it's doing. Not what one would expect from Josh and Andi - especially since Andi worked in the computer industry. I would delete but I would lose any access to the Allen book.

Major tech faults
The app incessantly crashes, and when it does open most downloaded files will either not open and videos will play without sound. This has the potential to be a good app, but I've experienced the same issues on both my iPad and iPhone, as have many others. We are paying for downloads that won't open, please fix the bugs!

Cons you out of your money👎💩
Downloaded app and paid £6.99 to download a trick, however, the trick just does NOT download 💩💩💩💩👎. I can see the trick in the 'downloads' tab but the bar just does not move so basically I have paid £6.99 for nothing. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP - DOES NOT WORK. PERIOD. 💩💩💩💩💩💩💩👎👎👎👎👎
Missing one big thing
All and all the app does what it's suppose to do. However I'd totally give it a 5 star if you have the ability to multi-task and download videos in the background.
