CHANGE IT BACK!
I love this app! I put together at least 4-5 puzzles at 100 pieces every day and it helps with my anxiety. But...
The last update that I had to do to get the Monopoly challenge changed the sorting tray options, the tool bar and the background options. When using these, which takes longer now, the timer is still counting.
I do not like that you can only have one sorting tray-it says SORTING tray not get the pieces off the board tray. You have to open the tool bar to move it to another area on the board. You cannot pull it down to make it square but have to have the tray at the top or bottom. Plus I just had to stop to take care of some things around the house and when I opened the puzzle back up my sorting tray, which I put the same shape pieces together was all mixed up. What is the point of having a sorting tray if you cannot sort the pieces?
I have to change the background according to the colors in the puzzle to see them, especially if they are dark or the same color as the background. Before there was a forward and backward choice and now I have to go through every background to get to the one before the one I was on. And if I make a mistake and go by it I have to cycle through again.
Please, please put these back like they were! They worked great like that and I do not see why you changed them. Thank you!Show lessJames#1Wife
Why spoil things?
1.)It seriously annoys me when a game that I’ve paid for gets changed without allowing me the option of keeping the old version. The new single tray is not as good as the previous 4 trays. The colour is not as good, and there’s no way to change it. I also can’t see how you can empty the tray. Where has the empty button gone? Please revert back to the old style trays (and colour), or give me the option of choosing. The main option bar when doing a puzzle, was also better as it was.
2.)Also , I paid to have ads removed and you are putting them back in by stealth; I’m constantly having to click through things to get rid of them. If I wanted to watch ads, sorry, ‘reward chests’, I wouldn’t have bothered to upgrade.
3.)There is no point in collecting coins because there are now so few puzzle packs to spend them on. Yes, I know there is a so-called treasure chest, but it’s not my idea of treasure! I used to love getting freebies and played more puzzles in order to collect coins.Show lessTopBoff
Latest updates. Continual offers
There are now loads of different offers you have to click out before you can start a puzzle then after a puzzle they all come back again. Now there is a new one that says you can turn them off for thirty days and yet every time it’s still there as well as the loads of other offers. I put off updating my game (& my iOS)until it froze on the loading screen and wouldn’t load up anymore. As I hadn’t changed anything on my end that leads me to believe that somehow on your end you did something that forced me to update... maybe in the same way that other items (boxes advertising your puzzles, events and other games that you own) just magically appear in my game in between updates. You know, the boxes have a delayed button that you have to wait until it shows up before you can close it. Imagine that?
Next issue. Coins that can’t be used to buy any but the oldest most awful puzzle packs. I don’t think I’d even download those if they were in the free section. Which just makes the 40k plus coins I have worthless. The puzzle pack selection that are offered for coins haven’t changed in over 6 months... probably more like 9 months. I’ve basically given up. I don’t even care to look at what you offer in the puzzle store anymore.
Which brings me to the latest update, where the puzzle shrinks down really small when you get to the last puzzle piece. It’s horrible! I wear bifocals and have problems with things that flash or are too bright. This little flashing piece (that I managed to drop on top of my little bitty puzzle) is unbelievably irritating.
I thought the game was pretty much perfect when I downloaded it almost 2 years ago. I don’t know how you manage, but every update makes the game a little worse. I’m really disappointed.Show lessbluejeanmamma

Love this app but find you have to watch an ad to do anything. Just getting a bit too much. Also note that not all puzzles can be purchased with accumulated points like they used to be. Prices have increased quite a bit too.diydonz

It is a disappointment that there are very few puzzles you can use accumulated points to buy. I always bought puzzles but enjoyed using points to buy puzzles when I accumulated enough.
Now I do not do any of the ads or treasure chests, there is no reason to bother accumulating points any more.
I do still think it is the best puzzle app.
I had my own business for many years until I retired a few years ago. One of the most important thing I learned is that it is bad business to take away something you have offered good customers who are returning consistently. Instead of offering fewer puzzles for points, make a person need double the points.
As an example the busiest sandwich shop not far from my business used to offer two sides with every Pannini. All of a sudden you got just the pannini, sides were extra! All my clients that used to go there were angry. He should have simply raised the price on the sandwich with the free sides! Semantics, I know, but people hate to have things taken away but they do understand prices going up! This place made so many people mad they actually went out of business. Updated my review for the third time. The user experience is getting poorer and poorer every update. Going from a five star to three star experience which is so disappointing for what was my favourite app.
I paid to not see ads but I see ads.
The game keeps signing me out
The puzzle promo pop ups are constant and irritating
You've severely limited the range available with credit which is your perrogative but it's disappointing.

Updated to say - I still love it.
I use this app all the time and love it. There are plenty of puzzles between the daily and the free packs. Plus you earn credits completing puzzles and it adds up quickly.
I paid to upgrade and get my own puzzles as well removing 3rd party apps. I'm so pleased I did. No more ads causing the app to freeze when it reopens as used to happen. Plus I can choose pics I love and do them as puzzles.
Just something to note: the pop up asking me to come here and rate the app has not worked on at least three occasions after updates. You might want to check your link as you'd have had a review months ago if the link worked ☺️Show lessHoneybgrrrl

This is an update to my earlier review. I lowered my rating from 5 stars to 3 stars. The reason mostly has to do with the free credits. When I first discovered that I could earn credits and then use them to buy puzzles, I was excited! Being retired, I have lots of time to study the puzzle packs and decide which ones I want. I keep a running list on my iPad. If I remember correctly, at first all puzzle packs could be purchased with credits. Now, there are very few, and NONE of the newer packs can be bought with credits. This seems unfair to the players. And, it is just getting worse! Every week it seems as though fewer puzzles are available for purchase using credits. I feel bad for the people who bought credits. It's like they wasted their money, and there is no way to get a refund. The changes come with every update. I have had this app a very long time. Over the years, I have bought a number of puzzle packs. I won't be buying any more. I will just work the puzzles I have.
I just recently discovered how much fun it is to work jigsaw puzzles on my iPad. This app is especially nice. It has lovely puzzles and the option to have different numbers of pieces. I can work one that is really easy or apply myself and work one that is more difficult. I highly recommend it!Show lessPinehillgirl
Boring!
I never write reviews, but have become increasing frustrated with the changes to this app. With each update more and more features which made this a very fun app have been removed. Getting to be a very boring, ho hum app!
This had been my most favorite game app that is available! I even paid the extra not to have the ads that interrupt my playing. I have completed over 1000 puzzles. I still like the variety of puzzles and the free one each day, which I play for that day and leave until the next free one. It used to be that if you collected enough coins you could use them to get new puzzle pack, but they have eliminated that feature for the most part. Now you must pay cash for almost all addition puzzle. Occasionally there are puzzles that you can us the coins to get, but they are mostly very unappealing puzzles that no one would buy with money. They have also lowered the number of coins for completed puzzles and no longer tell you how many you can earn for the different number of puzzle pieces you chose, so much of the challenge has been removed and not as much fun to play. The number of objectives not longer very challenging.
Not sure why anyone would watch any ads to get coins as the coins are useless! So disappointing to see how this app has been changed from it’s original, and not for the better!Show lessTom472

New ColorArt II brilliantI have used this app for years and loved it. I want to do jigsaws NOT play trivial pursuit! Now I can’t get into my puzzles because the trivial pursuit tableaux is blocking me getting into them. Please enable one to cancel that and let people do what the app says otherwise you will lose me and I am sure many others. It was the best app but it is being spoiled by gimmicks.
UPDATE.
Thank you for your prompt reply to my message. The X at the top of the ad. for trivial pursuit has now returned so I am now able to get rid of the ad. and start doing my puzzles again. I do my puzzles daily and have recommended the ap. to various friends as I think it is one of the best puzzle apps. Please don’t spoil it by adding gimmicks and other games.
