  • Thank you.

I am really enjoying, and benefiting from, this memory work program. Thank you for making it available to us.
    Awaiting His return.

  • Best Ever

If you want to memorize scripture, I strongly encourage you to download The Bible Memory app. It took me a few weeks to really get the hang of how to use it but once I did I’ve never had a more powerful tool in my memorization belt. After trying out the free version, we paid for the upgrade. It provides a rich assortment of visual, auditory, and kinetic tools to reinforce learning/memorization. My wife and I are memorizing the book of Ephesians now and this tool makes it so much easier. My wife is very good at memorizing scriptures and references while I have difficulty remembering numbers and references. So over the years I’ve had more success just memorizing a whole book without the references. Whichever style suits you best, this tool makes the whole process much easier. The first one I memorized was the book of James over 30 years and without any tools it took over a year. I’m expecting the process to be shorter now and for the memorization to go deeper so I retain it without any errors for much longer.

  • Great App!

Great App, having now learnt quite a few scriptures I love to pray using God’s own Word. Although at times I find it hard to recite verbatim, which usually occurs when I try and show off my new skills to impress the “Cook” (Wife); yet the Word seems to somehow drop into my heart and becomes effective for a prayer of righteousness. After all it is the inspired Word of God, maker of Heaven and Earth, so it is profitable for teaching, reproof, correction and training in righteousness. What more could you want?

  • Disappointed at cost to upgrade

I was getting to like the app and decided to upgrade. But the cost to get it adding NASB was too much when it didn’t even allow you to listen to the Bible when driving, mowing the lawn, working in the garage. It is not just important to memorize the Bible but also to understand all of God’s nature. I hold reading and listening higher then memorizing. With my Bible app I can look up a verse by knowing a part of the verse and search for a word or phase. But I would love to be able to have verses memorized also. Let me know when you have added the ability to listen to the Bible. I will keep your app on the back burner for now. I am using an app that allows me to record and play back. A have recorded 20 verses I want to memorize. I have made up flash cards also by pasting a verse into a label printing software and printing the label to put on index cards. I really like your concept better as it is all together. I am retired so I can’t spend the money on top of tithing like I used too. I have to save back for it and it needs to be worth it. Hope you can get the audio version on your app for that big a price.

  • Wonderful Bible memory tool

First, thank you to the developers of this app! I don’t remember for sure how long I’ve been using ScriptureTyper, but when I started a few years ago, I really thought I was too old to memorize Scripture. My boss told me about the app & I decided to give it a shot. Now a few years later, I’ve memorized AND RETAINED 352 verses! Now I have immediate access to so many scriptures when I face temptation or difficult situations & I can meditate on a verse when I’m driving or washing dishes or doing other things where I can’t read my Bible. One suggestion/request: would it be possible to add a review mode that gives the text of the verse first & requires us to supply the reference? I find I can remember the verse but sometimes can’t remember the scripture address when I’m not using the app.

  • Great

Really great app for memorising Scripture; you can use it off line, it saves where you’re up to, and it’s an easy and useful way to fill in spare minutes at the bus stop, etc.
  • Brilliant

Nothing better for the mind and heart than to soak up God’s word; this app gets you into a great habit of doing that by memorising scriptures.
  • Best Bible Memory App Hands Down

This is the best Bible memory tool by far. Hands down. I have used others that are good but nothing provides the broad spectrum of tools, features and flexibility that Scripture Typer has to really make memorizing Scripture simple and effective. This app has made such a difference in my life as I strive to hide Gods word in my heart. I loved it so much, I upgraded to the Pro version and added the Bible as well. It’s by far my very favorite app on my phone and worth every penny. Our phones are addictive and I used to absentmindedly click on Instagram etc all the time but now I’d rather just click on Scripture Typer and easily run through my verses. What a difference it has made in my life. Get this App! Best way to memorize your Bible!

  • Great but one small suggestion

This app has been great! It is very intuitively designed. It has great features in assisting one as they learn. I find i can recall and memorize scripture much quicker than before.

One suggestion though, and I believe it would be simple on their part, would be to allow us to add customized review times. As in, instead of just allowing us to only use the already made review increments (i.e., 1 day, 2 days, etc...) let us add our own as well to make better use of SRS learning methods (Spaced Repetition Sequence). I would love a feature that allowed me to chose 20 minutes, 1 hour, 9 hours to enable the app to remind me at those times. This would be particularly helpful when adding new verses. Afterward the options they provide are great and ample. It is only in the initial stages that a small increment would be helpful!

Also: when I turn “Dark Mode” on when using my iPad horizontally the side bar remains white. Just a note on something maybe to fix later.

P.S. Would it be too hard to add Spanish and other language options as well?

  • Best app I have

I had used another memorisation app which was adequate but recently switched to this one and I’m amazed! There are so many useful features that make this stand out - the ability to sort verses and categorise them, flash cards, being able to add a drawing or listen to the verse, automatic changes in your review frequency (which incidentally you can override if you want to), groups you can join, and (in case you”re motivated by this) badges to collect and a history tracker.Little things like a green tick appearing when you’ve reviewed and “due verses” being in red make it very easy to see where you’re at. And the actual memorising - what a fabulous methodology. Highly recommended!
