  • Awesome

Fantastic little resource, a must for any workman rightly dividing the Word of Truth.
  • Awesome!!

I have used this app for years and love it. I have been a maximum security prison chaplain for 30 years and speaking memorized verses is an amazing ministry tool to reach people. So, I like to memorize whole chapters and edit the Bible translation of choice to amplify certain key Hebrew or Greek words so the people I minister to really get those key words. Most apps confine me to importing a single English Bible translation and make me use it as is, but this app allows me to paste in my edited/amplified version so I can memorize exactly strategically expanded key words. I can also use my own voice to record so I can put in pauses and listen to the passages with real feeling so I memorize it that way. This isn’t about just memorizing and speaking it fast and without feeling. It’s about conveying God’s love and truth in a relational and impactful way. So, this app allows me to really design where to pause and what to emphasize, etc. Great syncing, never really had a problem, and I think that covers it all. Highly recommend.

  • A few issues

Probably works well but there are a few things that puts me off.
    • Clicking on Technical Support displays a message that my email account isn’t set up on my device. Not too sure in how many places it needs to be entered.
    • Has this annoying certificates award thing whereby you’re congratulated for achieving something and there doesn’t seem to be an option to turn it off. I’m a mature adult, I don’t need a CHILDISH self congratulatory modern workplace culture in a Christian app. So ANNOYING.
    • Deleting a Group is a bit of a hidden option. When a Group is deleted, however, it still appears when you click on the Verses button at the bottom.
Whether it helps you remember verses or not I don’t really know yet. Looks like it has some helpful features though.
Maybe my grievances could be resolved if I could contact tech support.

  • Helpful very ridge but needs settings preferences Eg not I will not verbalize into this app.

Needs flexible to be introduced, not ridge steps
  • Life changing

I am so thankful to God for this app for it has bolstad my relationship with God and it’s helped me to meditate on his word all day long. I head about this app though the living waters podcast so thanks to them aswell as the developers of this app.
  • Such a wonderful app

This app is a simply marvellous app, encouraging not just bible memorisation, but also devotion to, and meditation on scripture. Thank you for making it available and for your continued support and upgrades. The Pro version is 100% worth it.
  • Really like it so far

I’ve only had this app for a day but I’m already impressed. Sure, there are features I’d love to have that are not in the free version, but I’m also a believer in paying workers what they’re worth, so I don’t begrudge them keeping some features only in the paid version. Anyway, I was looking for an app that would make memorization more fun and easier than my old-fashioned way of just repeatedly reading and writing, which wasn’t working anyway. It gets a whole lot harder to memorize as we age, but the method of tapping the first letter of each word, then gradually having more words removed, is really effective. It’s also kind of fun, more like a game than work. So I’m more likely to open this app and practice verses than I am to scroll social media when I have spare time.

  • Makes it easy

This simple way of learning scripture is like a word game – so easy to do but yet so effective.

I would recommend it to all churches.

I like the fact that you can import the translation of your preference to learn so it matches with your bible.

I’m enjoying NIV from 1984 because that’s the Bible I still use.

  • Great for individual verses

I now have a bank of individual verses (and short chunks). One slight frustration is that when learning a who passage (eg Psalm 23), it goes verse by verse, including the reference each time which makes it tricky to get the flow
  • Such an important App!

This is really a wonderful app. It helps a person memorize whichever verse(s) they want with such a gentle and gradual progression. It learns how well you actually have memorized it, and calculates how often you should review it. Even two to three minutes before going to bed can do the job! My recommendation is to make yourself redo it every time you make a mistake, even on the “insignificant words” like “that” or “so that”. I found that I memorized it faster when I was careful about the details. It’s incredible how the Lord will bring up occasions for which having the verse you took the time to memorize can benefit yourself, used in encouraging others, witnessing, or rebuking the lies of the enemy. I never realized JUST how much of a treasure it is to have verses put to complete memorization rather than just a paraphrase or Googling it. There is such a difference. If you don’t know where to start, memorize a Psalms and pray the Psalms. I love to make them personal like Psalm 5:8 “Lead me , LORD because of my enemies (I might say here instead of enemies “because I have been dealing with discouragement or whatever it is I’m going through) make Your way straight before me.”
