### 2/5 — Aggravatingly buggy

*2026-02-16, version 3.4.1*

Fields keep clearing themselves after filling them out and the bikeindex.org integration doesn’t support adding a power meter to an existing bike.

### 2/5 — App won’t recognise two heart rate monitor devices

*2025-02-23, version 3.4.1*

Ended up with a second heart rate monitor after I thought the first was broken (which it turns out it wasn't). Took me a while to realise the app was the problem rather than an issue with the second unit.

Have to manage second unit via another phone using a fresh copy of the app. Other iOS apps recognise both monitors concurrently (as long as don’t reach the Bluetooth limit).

Hope this helps somebody.

### 3/5 — Idioma

*2025-01-07, version 3.4.1*

### 1/5 — Used to work

*2024-11-01, version 3.3.0*

It seems to do nothing now. My bike computer headsets all see the different 4iiii cranks I use so I’m not wholly out of luck. But firmware scans and updates are apparently no longer an option. Seems likely it is abandoned as a software solution. Consider another product.

### 2/5 — Basics are ok, bike index integration laughable

*2024-09-22, version 3.2.1*

This app finds my power meter without issue and the battery meter works as expected. The zero offset calibration seems to work well but there is no indication of an offset number so it is hard to tell if it is reasonable or consistent.
The link to bike index for me was laughable, worst I have seen in a long time. I entered my bike on the bike index website but linking the power meter to the bike via the app was beyond unstable, the bike would disappear, all entered text would disappear. I gave up after 5 tries, all with the same result.
I haven’t seen a firmware update yet so I can’t comment on that functionality.

### 1/5 — Worst app

*2024-08-21, version 3.2.1*

Simply does not work

### 1/5 — Bad App

*2024-08-13, version 3.2.1*

How can the 4iiii Powermeter connect better with Garmin than with the own App?

### 1/5 — Sort this out.

*2024-07-03, version 3.1.2*

App doesn’t pair to power meter. I know it’s working as head unit can pick it up. Pretty poor.

### 1/5 — Will not connect

*2024-06-25, version 3.1.2*

Whilst the belt connects to my iPhone it will not detect in the app. Used to be great but now woefully inadequate and outdated. Avoid and find something else.

### 4/5 — Weird but working UI

*2024-05-23, version 3.0.2*

As a mobile app dev, I found the UI a bit strange. But everything seems to be working fine which is the most important.

### 1/5 — Can’t connect

*2024-05-15, version 3.0.2*

Wahoo connects fine to my power meter but the 4iii wouldn’t. Tried for 30 minutes. At one point it did connect, I started my ride, it disconnected and wouldn’t reconnect after. I would recommend using the wahoo app….

### 1/5 — Not working

*2024-04-05, version 3.0.2*

I got a brand new precision 3 power meter with ultegra crank and it is not working. App is connecting to the device, I can calibrate it and then nothing shows on a ride besides gps read distance. I tried watch, phone, both and went back to apple workout app forgetting about my power measurements.
Everything I go for a ride I try and same thing happens, rubbish

### 1/5 — Latest revision doesn’t connect to power meter.

*2024-02-09, version 3.0.2*

My app updated and lost the power meter. Watch is still connected, which is preferable. As others have said. It works some times. Others doesn’t.

I would rather have the watch app work than the phone app though. Crossing my fingers I don’t update that on accident.

Cranks are awesome though. So keep that up 4iii

### 3/5 — Delete and reinstall app if not working

*2023-11-19, version 3.0.2*

Spent a year troubleshooting and sending in for warranty etc. problem ended up getting solved by deleting the app, forgetting all sensors. Factory resetting sensors by installing battery backwards and then properly installing batteries and reinstalling/ downloading app

*2023-10-22, version 3.0.1*

### 1/5 — The support website doesn’t exist

*2023-10-17, version 3.0.1*

My QuickStart pamphlet directs you to 4iii.com/support. Website doesn’t exist. “4iii.com” alone doesn’t exist.
Buyer beware. Whatever you are hoping it will do, it probably wont.

### 1/5 — Não calibra

*2023-10-04, version 3.0.1*

Não dá pra calibrar o sensor, sempre dá problema

### 2/5 — When it works, it works well. But when it doesn’t…

*2023-09-14, version 3.0.1*

It’s VERY frustrating, especially when you don’t realize the ride somehow stopped recording until AFTER your ride is done. And there is no partial FIT file that at least captured part of the ride before it stopped. Like someone mentioned, it may be the notifications. Was hoping to avoid using my HRM strap for my commutes but not at the expense of potentially missing a whole ride.

And not supporting multiple power meters is a pain.

Another pain point - it seems to keep running in the background even after a ride, drawing down the Watch battery.

### 1/5 — Multiple Powermeters

*2023-09-02, version 3.0.1*

Like other users reviewed, you have to remove the older power meter from the account before you pair the new one, otherwise the app won’t find the new one(s) via Bluetooth.

I had a one-side precision 3, then bought a dual-side precision pro. The app only identifies the right side of the pro. Took me an hour to figure this out and I thought the left side was defective.

I understand there could be limitations on the connections related to multiple Bluetooth or whatever. How about at least add a warning to the description or on your website as FAQs? Very disappointed.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Hit and miss, usually miss

*2026-03-31, version 3.5.0*

So, I have 2 4iii power meters on 2 bikes. The app seems only to be able to recognise one at a time even though my Garmin can find them both. This has led me on quite a wild goose chase believing the meters were faulty. Really poor.

### 1/5 — Could not connect

*2026-01-14, version 3.4.1*

For the first time the app could connect my powermeter. But later my device connection became inactive. I tried removing old connection and pair it from the scratch but the app cannot find my powermeter

### 1/5 — Schlecht.

*2025-11-01, version 3.4.1*

### 1/5 — Will not connect

*2025-06-11, version 3.4.1*

HRM links to Zwift and other apps. But will not link to this. In fact the screenshot of this app are different to what is available and what is described in the HRM manual.

### 1/5 — Can’t find power meters that Garmin finds instantly

*2025-03-09, version 3.4.1*

This is on multiple power meters

### 1/5 — wahoo can find powermeter this app cant

*2025-03-07, version 3.4.1*

wahoo can find powermeter this app cant

### 1/5 — Offset never works

*2025-02-08, version 3.4.1*

The app has terrible connection issues sometimes can sense the right side sometimes the left side extremely irritating. I cant believe Shimano associated with such low quality product .

### 1/5 — Unbrauchbar

*2024-12-14, version 3.4.0*

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Funktioniert

*2026-02-26, version 3.5.0*

Nutze einen Powermeter und bin zufrieden. Alles funktioniert. Kalibrieren, Batteriestatus, Update. Alles gut

*2023-07-09, version 2.7.1*

Everything worked perfectly.

### 5/5 — Geniales Teil

*2021-12-29, version 2.5.0*

Genial einfach 😊😊😊

### 5/5 — Works for me.

*2020-08-25, version 2.4.0*

Use it mostly to update my power meter name and firmware. Never had any issues.

### 5/5 — Shows all Data I need

*2020-05-09, version 2.2.2*

Very helpful

### 5/5 — Got my Precision power meter running

*2019-12-24, version 2.2.2*

Version 2.2.2. Mind you, the only use I have for the app is to interface with the power meter on my bike. The app recognized the power meter, displayed battery remaining, and updated the firmware without a hitch. That’s all I’ll be doing with the app.

### 5/5 — Does what it says!

*2019-02-09, version 1.26.0*

4iiii are a fantastic company which really help their customers. I own two precision power meters and they work flawlessly. The app keeps them up to date with the latest firmware and it also lets take into account leg discrepancies which is brill. 4iiii are the best!

### 5/5 — Does what it is suppoded todo.

*2017-08-22, version 1.26.0*

Works the first time, every time.

### 5/5 — Fantastic app and technology from 4iiii Innovations!

*2013-03-15, version 1.02*

I can finally pass through all the data from my ANT+ sensors via BLE to my phone! Quite a nice app interface as well.

### 5/5 — Works perfectly with my Sportiiiis and VIIIIVA!

*2013-02-16, version 1.0*

This is a great way to set up my 4iiii stuff. It's much better than using a laptop because I can set it up anywhere!
