Shoot video the way a camera operator would, with your hands on every control.

4kVideo turns your iPhone into a manual video camera. Set shutter, ISO, white balance and focus yourself, watch a live exposure meter while you frame the shot, and record in 4K HDR at the highest quality your device supports. Nothing is decided for you unless you want it to be.

FULL MANUAL CONTROL
• Shutter speed, ISO and exposure compensation, set by hand
• Manual focus by lens position, or tap the frame to focus
• White balance presets for daylight, cloudy, shade, tungsten and fluorescent, plus a manual colour temperature
• Separate focus and exposure reticles you can place and lock independently
• A live exposure meter showing how far you are from the metered reading, in stops
• Smooth eased zoom that pulls like a real lens instead of jumping in steps

RECORD AT FULL QUALITY
• 4K and every other resolution your camera offers, at the frame rates it supports
• Dolby Vision HDR capture in 10-bit HLG, with automatic SDR fallback on formats that cannot do it
• HEVC or H.264, with five quality levels from Low to Max and a live bitrate estimate
• Video stabilisation: Standard, Cinematic, Cinematic Extended or Automatic
• 16:9 and 4:3 recording, plus a 1:1 framing guide composed inside the 4:3 frame

AUDIO YOU CAN TRUST
• Live audio level meter with a clipping warning, right on the viewfinder
• Auto, Voice Focus and Natural recording modes
• See exactly which microphone is connected before you roll
• Stereo recording wherever the current input route supports it
• A clear readout of the system Microphone Mode, so you always know whether Voice Isolation or Wide Spectrum is active
