## What is 4RSS?

You just want it simple? This RSS is the right thing for you. Add up to four RSS feeds and just read them with the fewest possible clicks. By clicking on an article the news page opens directly.  It's just that. No subscription, no fancy functions.

AI summaries got a complete redesign.

  • Beautifully readable layout. Headings, bullets, and emphasis now render as styled
    content instead of raw symbols. Every summary fits the 4RSS amber-on-dark look.

  • Headline at a glance. The most important takeaway is highlighted in its own
    card at the top, so you can grasp the gist in seconds.

  • One‑tap retry. If your AI provider is briefly overloaded, you'll see exactly
    what happened and a Retry button — no more guessing.

  • Cleaner Copy & Share. A floating glass bar at the bottom keeps the actions in
    reach without crowding the text.

  Same minimalist 4RSS. Just a much nicer reading experience.

### 2.2 — 2026-04-15

• Fixed: Pull-to-refresh now reliably loads new articles. The bug where
  articles only appeared after switching tabs is gone for good.

• New: Auto-refresh when returning to the app. If 4RSS has been inactive
  for more than 10 minutes, your current feed refreshes automatically.

• Under the hood: Reworked the feed list and refresh pipeline for a
  smoother, more responsive experience.

Fixed an issue where pulling down to refresh didn't immediately update the article list and badge counts — previously you had to switch to another feed and back to see the new articles.
