Whether you're climbing rocky trails or exploring scenic routes, 4x4 Cockpit gives you real-time insight into your vehicle, terrain, and route — on your phone and on your car's CarPlay screen.

• 18 interface languages — English (UK), English (US), 中文, ह, اردو, Deutsch, 日本語, Naijá, Tiếng Việt, Türkçe, Polski and Русский. Pick yours from a flag list in Settings. The on-screen instruction adapts to your language too.

• Larger, sunlight-readable numbers on CarPlay — tilt values are now baked into the gauge with a high-contrast backplate so they stay legible in direct sun.

• New slope units — degrees (°), percent (%), per mille (‰) or vertical-to-horizontal ratio (1:n).

• Reorder the Phone cockpit too — the same drag-to-reorder list now rearranges both the Phone main screen and CarPlay.

• Phone layout polish — Reset Position sits under Vehicle Tilt, the compass is sized correctly on all phones, the screen scrolls when needed, and large tilt readings stay on one line.

• Imperial units everywhere — the Ride Recorder now honours your mph/miles choice for live speed, max speed, distance and exported ride maps.

• Localised exports and safety warning — shared ride images and the safety notice are translated into every supported language.

• Several minor fixes and polish.

Version 1.0.3 — Major update based on your feedback:
• New Settings screen — switch between metric (km/h, m) and imperial (mph, ft) units. Auto-detects your region on first launch and can be changed manually any time.
• Reorder CarPlay items — drag Pitch, Roll, Direction, Altitude, Acceleration and Speed into the order you want. Put the readings you use most at the top.
• Compass keeps updating in CarPlay — fixed an issue where the heading would freeze when the iPhone screen turned off.
• More accurate heading on the road — when driving above ~6 mph, the app now uses GPS direction of travel, which isn't affected by metal and electronics inside the vehicle.
• No more calibration on every drive — the calibration screen is now suppressed when the app already has a reliable reading.
• Several minor fixes and polish.
