I only gain it back when I stop the plan. I also love the convenience and money saving. Only takes about 30 minutes when I get off work! ### 3/5 — Love the App..Hate the Lag *2025-08-18, version 1.0* I have been using 5dinners 1 hour for 4 years! It is incredible and a game changer for my family of 5. It’s so nice to take one thing off the planning every week. However, the app is so incredibly slow! When I want to look at my favorites or saved menu it takes an eternity to load. Often times it doesn’t even load. I have to continually open and close the app in hopes that it will work this time. For that reason I give it a 3 star. This is frustrating and wasting my time which the app is suppose to save me time. ### 2/5 — App is terrible and website isn’t much better *2024-12-05, version 1.0* I really wanted to try this out because as a family of 5 with kids in extracurriculars, we have about 45min-1hr to prep, cook, eat and dress for practices. The app is very basic, could use some graphic design help and the food pics won’t even load on my phone app. I was looking through recipes today and there’s no filter that I can find to “omit” for allergies or unpreferred ingredients. Also, most of these meals I would be ok eating but we have VERY picky kids who will not eat a vegetable to save their lives. Needs to be more filter customizable to tailor the meals for your family/lifestyle. We tried 3 months of the classic recipes and so far are on month two and extremely disappointed with the dinners. None of them have tasted very good, none of the kids will eat them and they have not been worth the convenience of being put together ahead of time.
